haha so i forgot the draw for the semi's was STRAIGHT AFTER IT!
HERE'S THE DRAW:
LIVERPOOL or MAN UTD VS ARSENAL or PSG
ZENIT or PORTO VS BARCELONA or MAN CITY
SO... luckily ive dodged BARCELONA until (and if) i reach the final. Not a bad draw to be honest, to ensure i'd made it to the final, i would of liked ZENIT/PORTO in the Semi's, but PSG are not the hardest team to beat but do have good players, so not to be under estimated!
If ARSENAL are the opposition in the semi's it is worth noting that out of 11 games (all competitions) vs ARSENAL, I (LIVERPOOL) have beaten them 7 times, with them being victorious only 2 times, and 2 draws.
Nice Draw, and you're lucky with dodging Barca
so this isnt an OFFICIAL update but i thought id give you a small update on the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER FINAL FIRST LEG
a narrow but crucial win for PSG in the quarter final first leg, winning at The Emirates Vs Arsenal 1-0, Gameiro the scorer
SUPRISINGLY narrow win for Barcelona at the Nou Camp Vs Man City, winning 2-1, Sanchez and Messi on the scoreboard for Barcelona, and Doumbia for Man City
a MASSIVE home win for my LIVERPOOL side Vs Regional Rivals Man Utd, winning 6-1 at Anfield, with the main talking point of the match being a HAT TRICK from Luis Suarez, Carlos Tevez and Lucas Moura were their other scorers, also Nemanja Vidic scoring an own goal to make it 6, Wayne Rooney scoring for the Red Devils late in the first half
another NARROW win in the quarter finals with FC PORTO beating ZENIT 1-0 away! Kleber the only goalscorer
6-1 isn't half bad against Man Utd
Suarez must of had a brilliant game

i did say my team were great at home, and i dont think ive won the CL yet so maybe they really want it this season? if i get barca in the final though i dont know if i'll end up getting it and if i get man city its gonna be hard as theyve just beat me in the league 3-0 at their place, putting them 3 points ahead aswell!
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER FINAL 2nd LEG RESULTS
so as expected FC PORTO won comfortably at home Vs ZENIT, winning 3-0 Kleber scoring again, as he did in the first leg, and carloz vela scoring twice to finish off. FC PORTO advance to the SEMI FINALS (FC PORTO won 4-0 on aggregate)
a rather SUPRISING result again between BARCELONA and MAN CITY, with the second leg being played at the Etihad Stadium Man City would have been slight favourites anyway, but i'd of thought BARCELONA would be good enough to claim a draw... OH HOW I WAS WRONG!! Man City claimed a Massive 3-0 win at home Vs The Spanish Giants with Doumbia scoring again (as he did in the first leg), and Marek Hamsik scoring twice. MAN CITY advance to the Semi Finals (Man City win 4-2 on aggregate)
with PSG winning at the Emirates 1-0 arsenal had to claw back at least one goal to make it a draw and take it to extra time, they did that in the 5th minute with a goal from Rondon, Unfortunately for ARSENAL, PSG scored in the 72nd minute through Moussa Dembele, and then ARSENAL secured their own fate by scoring an OWN GOAL in the 85th minute, Literally handing PSG the win (2-1, 3-1 on aggregate)
Leading 6-1 in the first leg, i was rather confident about advancing to the next round, although it was at Old Trafford so i did think that they would have like 3 pens in the last 10 minutes :p, anyways back to the non-biased view, THE ACTUALY GAME, anyway the first half didnt go so great for me (as expected lol) with Shawcross scoring an OWN GOAL in the 21st minute, Wayne Rooney scored for them late in the second half to make the final score 2-0, BUT as i beat them a WHOPPING 6-1 in the first leg i advance to the SEMI FINAL
HERE'S THE SEMI FINAL DRAW THEN
MAN CITY VS FC PORTO
LIVERPOOL VS PSG
(not necessarily being played like that, i.e i may not have home leg first)

Disappointed with Liverpool this season, Overall they've done well, reaching the Semi Final in 2 competitions, winning 1 cup and finishing in 2nd by only 2 points.. BUT,
Had the LEAST amount of losses throught the year with only 5 losses all season
Scored the MOST goals in the league with the team finding the net 122 times
Had the HIGHEST Goal Difference in the league with a +/- of +77
STILL FINISHED 2ND!!!
These stats are why im disappointed with them.

2-2 Draw (R.Sterling, G.Sankoh)
so thats the final games of the season played, an overall good season for both teams, feel slightly aggrieved for liverpool as they lost in 2 semi finals and came second in the league with only a 2 point difference.
Crawley town on the other hand im quite pleased with, the squad is REALLY small so the same players have played over and over again with only stikers being rotated as i have 5 of them and usually only play one up front, changed to 2 near the end

Hi, interesting idea of managing more than one club? What caused that, do you find your bigger club reserves on loan to your smaller club often???
I always find myself getting bored of single saves, do you find this keeps your interest in the save up because theres so much more going on????
I might try it out but would have no idea who I wanted to manage lol!

Hey, ive always wanted to manage more than one club and i always have, i sometimes get bored of using one club, sometimes i change it to club and country but 2 clubs is more satisfying.
with being a lower club and a higher club, i do sometimes make it easy by loaning out youngsters to the lower club but as im 4 years in and i have my lower club in the same league as the higher one, i tend not to help unless im in desperate need of a player.
you can try with anyone, on the older fm's i use to use 2, 3 sometimes 4 clubs at a time to keep me interested and to keep me going, sometimes i chop and change between 2 big clubs, sometimes in the same league sometimes i use in defferent league e.g R.Madrid and Liverpool/Man City, in this case ive used a big club (My favourite club) and a lower league club to see how far i can take them..
i think everybody should try this at least once just to say they've done it, i recommend you do too!

I might start one off tonight, just started a save with Man United and after one season [winning the domestic treble but only QF in champs league] found myself bored lol! maybe my european failures killed it for me I dunno but I like the thought of managing the team I could send loan players to, even to keep a closer eye on their development!
yeah exactly, with a big club like United or Liverpool, your youth players dont always get a look in so if your a lower league club you get to use them and watch how they progress, if at all

i have gone against everything i believe in!
i HATE buying players and paying over months but my Crawley team needed players and i only got 7m which was nowhere near what i needed.
MATCHES PICKED FOR TV (season)
Home Vs Liverpool - August 15th
Away Vs Man City - September 12th
Home Vs Arsenal - 31st October
Away Vs Peterborough - 12th December
(Receiving around £2m in TV money
So every month for 2 years, the board have been saying theyre happy with the club stature since i arrived, only did i realise in this pre season how much it had improved when i made the richest clubs list, lying in 31st place with 75m.
so pre season went well i think, Crawley got better as the weeks went on, some good signings i think for the team with hoillett, zimling and garcia showing signs of quality and with the obvious Jordan Ayew settled after being here 6 months im hoping for big things from him!
Liverpool did rather well again winning all matches except one vs Club Brugge where they drew. Again ive tried to buy for the future for this team, with first team players being quite young as it is, there is still need of replacement for Gerrard when he eventually retires and back up for people as they start getting older.
Crawley start their season with the gruesome match of playing Liverpool at home after playing two quite hard friendlies Vs At.Madrid and Deportivo. The first away game for Crawley is at White Hart Lane against Tottenham, so as you can see not the easiest start to the season.
Liverpool start their season with the Community Shield Vs Man City, then Travel to Crawley for the first game of the season. Liverpool's first game at home is to wolves the week after.
