can load save on one pc, not another

hi, i lost my laptop and am waiting to get an android device to play FMH.

while i'm "without" hardware to play the game i was hoping to go to the library to do some "window shopping" with genie 11 as i had that plus an fm11 save game on an external drive.

now, i set it all up using my parents' laptop over the weekend, and loaded a save game and did some searching.

NOW i bring my external drive to the library and can't load my save. get the "compressed game" error etc.

how is it that i can work on one pc and not the other? is it the different OS possibly?

i'm sad!:( is there anything i can do? as i mention, i dont have fm currently, just have genie and a save on an external drive THAT WORKS ON SOME PCS............

ehm seems like the save game might be compressed? u need FM to uncompress it and save. but dont know sounds weird that u can load it at 1 pc. must be 2 different types of save?
