Your probably wondering why I have another story being made here & that's because I was sacked from my last job again as United manager & instead of finding another job from unemployment i really wanted to suceed with Man U so i restarted. I noticed one thing already when creating a new save, i had the database on small so i changed that to large and added more leagues also. Like my last file i plan on focusing on developing the hot prospects instead of flashing the cash which United don't exactly have alot of due to there loan repayments. I plan to have more control, bringing in new staff and getting rid of the deadwood..I already have a good idea player wise who's in my future plans and who isn't so i hope you follow me (once again) through this story as i look to the future at Old Trafford!
I wish you good luck :)

Pre-Season Results

Man United Reserves (H) 4-0
Werder Bremen (H) 3-0
Benfica (H) 4-1
Marseille (H) 2-0
Antwerp (A) 3-0
Juventus (H) 4-1

A very good pre-season with 6 wins out of 6, 20 goals scored & only 2 conceded. Antonio Valencia particulaly impressed during the summer getting himself 4 goals, i've always been a big admirer of the winger & he's going to play a big part in the season ahead 100% I have 3 formations set for the season ahead. 4-4-2(h) this is a very attacking formation il particulaly use at home. 4-4-2(a) a more defensive & direct approach with the view of a counter attacking threat. 4-5-1(cl) i will use this in difficult Champions League ties where we will most likely find ourself on the back foot often.

I was a little hesitant to let Paul Pogba go out on loan however i knew he needed game time so allowed him to go for 6 months. I did tho add the recall clause incase i needed him back or he wasn't learning much which is the case with many that do go out on loan but il have to wait and see.

Community Shield 7-8/11

4-4-2
Lindegaard
Smalling
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra
Valencia
Fletcher
Cleverley (67)
Nani
Rooney
Hernandez

Substitutes: Scholes (67)

Summary
A very entertaining derby & we got off to an immediate start when Hernandez went through on goal to score however the lead didn't last long and City were level minutes later when Aguero struck home from close range. We had a number of chances to snatch it & it finally came after 66 mins when Valencia's cross met the head of the returning Darren Fletcher. That's how it remained & a very satisfying first game in charge.

good start, a derby win is always satisfying.... how come you got sacked on the old game? how much do utd start with? (budget)

need to know because i have been challenged to fm and theres a 99% chance he's going to be them
Because i had too many encounters with the FA lol how stupid..The starting budget ain't great (18M) but it's got me & strong established player & a couple of promising youths :)
18m is more than i'll be getting if i go liverpool, so now im unsure who to be, man city have way too much so its easy but this guy thinks hes better than me but he'll choose utd who obviously have the best team in the league, liverpool would be my first choice but with the lack of quality and money, but then again i am doing a great job with them along with crawley on my solo... decisions decisions...
Have you considered Spurs? they have a good team & something you can build on and improve in time :)
i have... dont know their starting budget though
Premier League 13-8/11

4-4-2
De Gea
Smalling
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra
Valencia
Scholes (61)
Cleverley
Nani
Rooney
Welbeck (78)

Substitutes: Gaitan (61) Berbatov (78)

Summary
We were up against a very strong looking Spurs side & we were brilliant. We were 2-0 up inside 15 mins when Paul Scholes struck one of his trademark 30 yarders into the top right corner & then Welbeck played in Nani who ran with the ball before drilling it past Gomes. A third goal followed close to half time when Valencia's cross met Danny Welbecks head & he hit the crossbar before hitting the back of the net off Gomes back! A fine 3 points on the opening day of the season.
