Hello and welcome to my Tottenham Hotspur story.

I want to create an academy of players that will be able to come through and become first team members within five years. This will not be easy as there are only a couple of stand out players in the academy at the moment. My youth team squad are on their own personalised training schedule so they, and any youngsters that join, can fulfill their potential and hopefully become future stars of the club.

I want to be able to challenge for, and even win the Barclays Premier League and a European trophy within five years. Breaking into the top four will not be easy but I think this club has lots of potential and can put in a strong challenge.

I have set my season expectations as Europa League qualification. That has to be the minimum but anything better would be fantastic. The board have backed me and I have been given a transfer budget of £12,000,000.

Thanks for reading, any comments or constructive criticism welcome...

Three tactics have been set up and will be tested throughout pre season.
I hope you gonna do well. As for strikers, Pavlyuchenko, Adebayor, Defoe will be HUGE wastes. Get some strikers : NILMAR, was the striker I first had, good goals, handy when you need him.

Thanks mate - I'm not looking to have a major overhaul of the squad because I don't want to disrupt things. I am using the update so Roman Pavlyuchenko has left the club. As for Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe, I can only give them a go and see what happens.

The squad will be looked at and added to accordingly. The only stand out area that needs addressing at the moment is the full back position. I have some targets in mind so we'll see what business we can do.

With the current injuries to our defence I'm not sure whether a major change is required. Some players are out for a long time but again we'll see what happens during the transfer window.

The first team and youth team squads each have their own personalised training schedules. This will bring out the best in the players I have available and I'm hoping my new backroom staff will work wonders with the players. A lot of time and effort has gone into finding the right staff. I basically released 95% of the staff that were there and brought in a new assistant manager and some excellent coaches, physiotherapists etc. Every category has a rating of over three and a half stars so this should help my five year plan of consistently bringing through and developing youth players.
As I can see, you could use a new DL.
As for DR, use Walker, and if anything happens to him, use Corluka as a replacement. You can also use Corluka as a DC

The guy is using the update so Corluka is on loan at some German club
Transfer Update

These are my transfers so far and all transfer fees were paid upfront with no installments. All youngsters with lots of potential. I spent the entire budget so unless something out of the ordinary happens, then probably only a couple more youngsters will leave on loan.

Pre Season

We had a good pre season. We played five games, won four and drew one. We scored eleven goals and only conceded two. The stand out tactic was the 4-4-1-1, with the players suiting it a bit better than the other two tactics. All new signings have settled in well and have been put on their relevant training programs. The only bad news was that Kyle Walker tore his hamstring and will be sidelined for three months.
Transfer News

Ben Alnwick has joined Leyton Orient on loan for five months.
Barclays Premier League - 13/08/11

Fulham 0 - 3 Tottenham Hotspur

(4-4-1-1) Friedel, Vrsaljko, Toloi, Dawson, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Modric, Parker, Bale, Van Der Vaart, Adebayor

Subs Used - Kaboul, Dos Santos, Defoe

A great win to start the season and a brilliant hat trick from Aaron Lennon. Also gave debuts to Sime Vrsaljko and Rafael Toloi so delighted with the clean sheet.
Try to get Siyanda Xulu. He is a great player, but young so he needs time.
Also my fav. Gylfi Sigurðsson!

I'll get my scouts to have a look at him. Gylfi is on loan at Swansea for the season.
