After the terrible performance Beany and Dortmund faced Werder Bremen at home to try and get the season back on track with a win. But some good news for Dortmund because fan favourite striker Barrios will be back in action in around 2weeks.

Things started promisingly for Dortmund after they cut open the defence twice in just as many minutes nut Lowe missed sitters each time. On the stroke of 15minutes Lowe made up for the misses after scoring a placed volley after a great cross from Gotze. Gotze again turned provider with a great free-kick from in which Subotic headed home from 4yards. Not much happened in the second as Dortmund shut up shop and tried to hold onto a 2-0 lead. However Dortmund hit Werder Bremen on the break and Lowe’s shot was saved well by the keeper but he could only parry it out as far as substitute Gundogan. Then to add a gloss to the victory Gundogan scored again in the 91st minute with a curling effort from 20yards out.

Barrios returns to save the day for Dortmund
After an amazing 4-0 victory over Bremen Dortmund travel to Augsburg to try and keep the pressure on Munich and Hoffenheim, early on in the season. This is a match that Dortmund should win but it is never an easy place to go due to the vocal home support.

The away fans were delighted to hear that Barrios was back and looking to get his form back up after a long term injury. Kringe was stretchered off early with a leg/ankle injury suspected. Without a single shot on target all half, the half-time talks will be about the persistant fouling and “hacking” by the Augsburg players to prevent any momentum being built up by the Dortmund players. The second half nearly had a goal in the opening 3minutes when a Barrios volley hit the bar then was deflected on to the post buy the keeper. Not much happened until the 82nd minute when Barrios pushed his marker to the floor to break free for a through ball, the ref did not see it as a foul and Barrios rounded the keeper to slot the ball home, despite the fury from the Augsburg players.

Lowe was sent off after just 24seconds much to the fury of his manager Beany who let him know what he thought when he walked down the tackle. SLB took advantage of the extra man by passing the ball into the net with relative ease after just 9minutes. However Dortmund were not going to give up easily and Gotze scored a screamer from 35yards out to leave the SLB fans in a state of shock. Early into the second half the Dortmund players were tiring because of the red card, so Beany decided to bring on fresh legs and changed formation in an attempt to shut-up-shop. The tactic worked as the game with a hard though draw, despite SLB having a penalty shout turned down.

Yh I am not expecting to get any points against them. I should beat the others at home but away will be more difficult
After the disappointment of the 0-0 draw against Mainz, but it will be a very difficult match away at a very hostile home crowd.

The match got off to a bad start for the visitors as Kaiserslautern scored a deflected shot on 7minutes. Not much else happened in the first half and the sides went into the half-time interval at 1-0. Gotze scored a vicious volley from just outside the area to give the Dortmund fans something to celebrate. However the Wolfsburg player’s cut the party short quickly and efficiently with a great 1-2 between Meteb and Jonsson and Meteb tucked home. The second half was yet again another half for Dortmund to forget as they had only three shots on target. But they restricted Wolfsburg to only one shot in the whole half. Both teams deserved a point in what was a poor game.
