Man Utd go into this match with the slightest lead advantage but it doesn't take long before Sergio Aguero scored from 30 yards to give Man City the away goal lead. But things took a turn for the worst for Man City when David Silva received a red for a two-footed challenge on Ayew.

Man Utd took advantage of the extra men they had and Nani equalised for Man Utd with an effort from 30 yards exactly the same way as how Aguero did. Man City tried to put pressure on Man Utd and they nearly took the lead in the 77th min but Yaya Toure right footed shot was brilliantly saved by De Gea. The score remain level till final whistle and Man Utd eventually won the game 4-3 on aggregate.
