Can People die on football manager? E.g your own manager or chairman?

Weird questions I know, But being an FM fanatic im really interested in finding the answers and I thought this would be the best place to ask

Dying is not possible, only retirement. Save corruption is also something that I personally never noticed happening to anyone.
The scoring cases are all possible.

no people dont die. they retire.

i dont have any experience with console gaming when it comes to FM, but i dont think your game will corrupt, on PC you can go on to play for...ever.

its possible and it has happened that player(s) have scored directly from the corner.

and once my goalkeeper did score from a goal kick.

and yes at times you will see some odd goals from maybe the half way line or something.

most probably yes.

oh! on the subject of things to happen in FM, has anyone had a fan day on the game.

What happens, what effect does it have... What's it all about really?

Fan days occur with smaller reputation clubs with average attendance generally. I created a game not long ago in Iceland, and they had about 3 fan days in one season. It definitely made a difference with the attendance and I didn't lose any home games from the 2nd fan day onwards. Coincidence?

yea fan days do help if you play well in them though

of course...just use fmm to constantly make your attributes high and it wont be a problem.if u use the player every game even if he has 50 or 60 he wont retire.and of course if he has some stats high

If you don't use fmm how long can you probably last?

as long as the player in the game realises that hes to old to play.

lol so even without fm modifier you can last forever lol. I wouldn't get that far due to the next in seris

i did not mean to say that.

without fmm and without modifying the stats, the player wil eventualy retire because his stats go down because of age and because of that u dont use him....cause hes old and crappy but if u use fmm to modify his stats than u can use him to play and if he plays(even at 50) than i dont see the reason for him to retire. i'm guessing here because thats why players in the real world retire,cause they get to old and cant play at a professional level, but in the game if the player is 50 and because of the alteration of the stats, i dont see why he would retire, but, i repeat, i'm guessing now.my theory is not based on something real, i just made some connections with the real world.
