I can't find anything that relates to my present game to change because I can't see it. I mean staff players etc.

Then perhaps it only changes the database, meaning you will have to start a new game to see the effects of the changes you have made.

Ejay is right the editor that comes along with the game is a database editor and not an in game editor and therefore will only edit the database for the next game you start. There are in game editors such as FMRTE but I believe that they now require you to make a donation to be able to make changes.
