i recenly started a new game managing man city but every time i give a team talk the body language of my players never changes. it always says nothing specific noted. at pre-season i had negative responses to my team talks and now im quarter way through my season i've not had 1 positive response. anyone have ideas to get some positive body language out my team?
You need to build up a certain amount of trust with the players and earn their respect before they start paying any serious attention to what you have to say. Sometimes it can take quite awhile, depending on the level of the team you are managing. Hang in there, they'll come around eventually.
Just to add to The Villan's post, I think it also depends on what you put your past experience as, as if you have it start of Amateur they don't respect you due to no prior achievements. But obviously If you were a world renowned footballer prior to the job they respect you more easily. Body Language usually balances out on a semi pro level after about 18 months to normal levels.
