My Ontinyent C.F. Story

I have been offline for a while because my laptop broke, but that problem is now fixed. I have been enjoying a save (On Fm10, I enjoy it and see no reason to upgrade) of Tottenham, but after 4 consecutive EPL titles by 2014 I started to get bored. So instead of using my high rep manager or starting a new save, I retired my original one and added a new one. The club I chose is very old, but could have a better competition history. Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Ontinyent C.F. of the Spanish Second division B3:

I took over with the club predicted to be 6th sitting 14th. I quickly found two academy products were the best players at the club: http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3948/sergioz.png

As you can see, they are both 16!

The team had only and ass man and a single coach when I arrived, so I thought I was in for a major overhaul, that is until I realized I was only allowed two coaches! I brought in a new ass man: http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/319/jesule.png

Oh, and the club is semi-proffesional, so everyone is on part-time contracts!

I took over in late November with the club 13th. I quickly put the team in my prefered 4-5-1 formation (two central defenders, two fullbacks, one defensive mid, two central mid, two wingers, one striker) and am using the same tactic as I did with Tottenham.

My first 15 games were mixed, but overall I was pleased with what the squad had done.



I brought in three new players to add depth in our midfield. The first is a starting central midfield, and the second is a very versatile defensive mid/ central mid/ right winger/ right midfielder/ attacking mid (He is natural in all of them except defensive mid). The third is a talented right winger to provide starting or backup options to Sergio.







The best player has definitely been my young star Sergio.



I don't think I'll be able to hold on to him and Manuel for long, but I'll enjoy them for as long as I can, then sell them for a large amount.
