Invalid argument to date encode

When I open up Genie Scout I get an error message saying 'Invalid argument to date encode' I then click ok and the programme loads fine, until it comes to loading a save game from FM2012 i then get a second error message that says 'Access violation at address 00406F96 in module 'FMGenieScout.exe'. Write of address 00000004.' The invalid argument error message also pops up periodically whilst the programme is running. I am using FM Genie Scout 12g v1.1, any ideas what is going wrong??

Tried searching google?
tried asking support?
tried re-installing again?
Tried searching google again? with different wording?

Managed to solve it, just had to do a system restore to when it was first installed, not a clue what the cause of the problem was though
