Paris Saint-Germain hire Pierre as manager

Paris Saint-Germain have unveiled Florent Pierrer as their new young manager. Pierre is said to be delighted at the chance to manage at Parc des Princes, and the Le PSG supporters will no doubt be hoping their new manager has what it takes to bring silverware to the Parc des Princes as well.

There has been a lot of speculation from the french media this week claiming Paris Saint-Germain's new manager Florent Pierre will fail at PSG. The french media claim the french man is too young inexperienced and will not be able to handle the big egos at the club. Nasser Al-Khelaifi the man who owns 70% stake in Paris Saint-Germain was quick to react to the French media, telling them he is 100% behind Florent Pierre and has high hopes he will bring success to Paris Saint-Germain. He also claims Florent Pierre has a 3 year project for the club.

Paris Saint-Germain are please to announce two new signings today. After long contract negotiations Marko Marin has finally put pen to paper and signed a contract until 2015. Shortly after signing Marko then expressed himself by telling PSG TV that it's a dream come true signing for PSG, I can't wait to get started and get out there and show the fans what i'm made of. I want to play as many games as possible, score as many as possible and win a place in the hearts of the supporters.

Jano the 18 year old Georgia International also signed a deal with the club until 2015. The signing is believed to be in the region of £5.5M. Jano was also interviewed by PSG TV, he said i'm not expecting to start a lot of games, there's a lot of experienced players in the side. I'm only young and have a lot to learn, being at a club like PSG is huge for anyone as young as me.

Contract Terms

Looks good, keep it up
Pre-Season Friendlies

Pre-Season friendlies went smooth for us, a comfortable win against FC Dombrin 1913 was pleasing. five days later we then had a friendly match against our reserves, I saw this game as a chance to give my younger first team players the chance to impress me. I was a little disappointed we couldn't score any more than 2 goals. At the same time i was also pleased for my reserves a great result for them hopefully they can go on and get more results just like this one. We then traveled to the Reebok stadium, the atmosphere was electric the Bolton faithful making a lot of noise. Bolton got the result they deserved in this game. They showed fight and tested us in all area's of the pitch. The next three friendlies Raith, Aberdeen, and AEK all coming away from home obviously. We duly delivered in these games getting the results we deserved, Although conceding 6 goals in 6 games isn't ideal on the other hand scoring 14 goals in 6 games is very pleasing.

The Euro cup fourth round qualifying round has been quite generous to Paris Saint-Germain. We will work very hard in this game to assure we progress to the next round, cup upsets happen every season hopefully this doesn't happen to us.

These are the team instructions i plan to use in my first game if all goes well i will continue to use the same instructions. I have chosen to play fluid and attacking football for as long as i will be at Paris Saint-Germain. We have the quality to dominate any team in this league and our fans deserve to see world class football.

I will make my next update at my first league game.

with the quality of your side i personally dont think u should play with such a quick tempo. try and dictate and dominate games by playing a slow build up game

cheers for the comment mate, my reason behind using a quick tempo is because i aim to tire my opponents fast. Specially when i'm at home by the 60th min there going to be tired trying to keep up with menez nene and pastore. But not every game i will be playing a quick tempo, keep following mate :)
League Game - FC Lorient

The time has arrived the very first competitive game of the season, the very first competitive game for the new Paris Saint-Germain boss. Alex our rock solid defender is still injured witch leaves us with third string center back Diego Lugano. Jano was surprised to be called up to start this match, he will be playing a deep lying play maker role.

Formation 4-2-3-1 ( Attacking Fluid )
The starting line up - Salvatore Sirigu, Milan Bisevac, Diego Lugano, Mamadou Sakho, Maxwell, Jano, Thiago Motta, Jeremy Menez, Javier Pastore, Marko Marin, Kevin Gameiro

Not much to talk about for the first half both sides cancelled each other out. Approaching halftime Kevin Gameiro took a knock the Paris Saint-Germain physio's monitored the injury at the half time interval, he was given the all clear to go out for the second half. 6 minutes into the second half Kevin Gameiro signaled to the bench that he could not continue no more and was substituted by Hoarau, the injury is not serious. 4 minutes later Kevin Monnet-Paquet the Lorient winger stung the hands of Sirigu it was parried out for a corner. Both sides still cancelling each other out, 80th min approaches Pastore curls one from outside the box Audard does well to turn keep it out for a corner, Marin delivers the ball near post and Lugano nods it in the fans go wild! 88th Min Menez is through on goal squares the ball to Gameiro's substitution Hoarau and it's 2-0. 93rd min FC Lorient's Jeremie Aliadiiere scores a cracking volley inside the box. Paris Saint-Germain win 2-1
