Alex McLeish has confirmed he no longer wants the Aston Villa job, and due to that action, Lloyd Debenham (me) has taken charge, and here is his info:

Friendlies:
Preston 0-2 Aston Villa
PSG 1-0 Aston Villa
Stevenage 0-1 Aston Villa
Mansfield 1-5 Aston Villa

Signings: (up to 11/8/12)
Grant Holt (from Norwich for 4.7M)

First three fixtures:
West Brom (H)
Sunderland (A)
Wolves (H)

I believe that our pre-season fixtures went well, our signing is good and many more will come (around 2-3) and our first three fixtures look quite easy!
Good on you for signing Grant Holt. Fairly decent pre-season results, looking to see how you'll progress in the league :)
Premier Division:
West Brom (H)

Line up: (4-4-1-1)
Given,Hutton,Dunne,Collins,Warnock,Alrighton,Ireland,Jenas,N'Zogbia,Petrov,Agbonlahor

Used Sub(s):
Holt (59') (subbed on for Ireland)

Score:
Aston Villa 2
West Brom 1

Goals:
Agbonlahor (x2)

Manager's opinion:
I thought that the first half, we played quite poor, and it got worse by conceeding after 27 minutes by a good goal by West Brom's Shane Long, but luckily, we got a goal back with 15 minutes to go and then another 3 minutes to go. So the second half we really improved! Well done lads, seventh in the league, come on you Villians!
