LOUIS ROSS a budding manager was the shock appointment for the England job in 2012... a lifelong Arsenal fan who is living the dream... One key decision I'm having to make is whether to juggle the national management with domestic affairs or quit England on a high... help me make decisions at Man U and possibly England too, I am looking for a new formation and tactics really, stuck playing 4-2-3-1 and it's my preferred option but would like a change.
I took England to the euros where unfortunately we lost on penalties to Spain in the QF, but two years later we went to Brazil (without Rooney as he was injured!) and won the World Cup!
I'm now manager of Man U as Fergie retired just before the WC so i applied and got the job, at the moment they are prem and CL champs so I have the job of continuing the success. To my dismay Welbeck has been sold- he scored 3 crucial goals in the WC.
SO, this is my story of World Cup winner to potential premiership glory, please follow this story and help me out where and when possible!! any suggestions! Enjoy !!

As you can see we finished second in our group! beating Algeria, drawing with S. Korea and we lost 2-0 to Norway, i kept checking the live table and Korea were in the lead vs. Algeria but it was an 82nd minute goal from Algeria that kept us in the tournament!!!

Finishing 2nd in the group meant a harder route to the final but Danny Welbeck, Theo Walcott and The OX played amazing for me and their speed proved useful in my counter attacks
Theo and The OX both missed the final through suspension so i played Adam Johnson and Wilshere on the wings.
[url= - This was the starting line-ups for the final, i put my full backs both on defend for this to try and stop Reyes and Navas as much as possible. Torres had scored 8 before the final so it was a bit worrying... Lescott would have been my main defender but he wasn't fit enough. Without Rooney (inj) and Theo and The ox (suspension) i feared the worst but my record vs Spain previously had been a friendly win (3-1) and the penalties loss so I knew we could do it.
We took the lead through Wilshere and then we conceded late on to a Llorente goal but in the 92nd minute from a corner Michael Dawson comes through to tap it in from a few yards and ultimately
win the WORLD CUP FOR ENGLAND
Now my attentions turn towards Manchester United, any suggestions for tactics or signings let me know

NEW SIGNINGS
[url= £18 million Oscar i am very excited about, Fergie signed Danny and Hazard and I have options of Nani and Young too so Oscar will provide another option and hopefully make the others work harder for a first XI spot!
Ongenda I saw on the FMScout website and thought I'd take a gamble on him, 7.5m was very pricey for him but i thought i would start with that as I thought the bid would be rejected!! But his stats show promise and i saw a screenshot of him at 25 and they were unreal, one for the cups this season I think
Fierro I know will be a star for Man U, Hernandez was United's top scorer last year and i expect Fierro to be the leading scorer in years to come, already scored twice in a recent friendly and with him, Rooney, Hernandez and Ongenda i can see him getting a lot of game time
I've signed regens too and I am expecting them all to be around 4stars, will post them at a later date if they progress as well as I hope, as they are 16 it's a season in the 18's for the atm.
Took a risk on a two 19 year old's from the Czech Republic, it worked on my Reading save where the scouts rubbished them and they became key players, so fingers crossed!!
Werder Bremen in my next friendly- my biggest test so far.
Transfer History so far...
It's a win against Bremen in a friendly- 3-1 with Fierro scoring and young regen CB/RB Ryanathan Vrutaal scoring twice, he's going to be world class I think! coming to the end of July now so nearly at the season's start... Question is do I carry on with England ? THOUGHTS PLEASE!!!!!
Hi mate, i suggest you try to sign Kagawa, he get dozens of assists and can score a goal, also stick with England as well as United so that it gives you an extra option if you get bored.

Cheers mate! I will look into it... But i have Hazard, Danny, Oscar, Young, Nani and Cleverly in AM positions plus rooney, I like to play him behind the forward, Danny is getting old now (30) and Nani I may sell so it could be an option!
Community Shield Vs. Chelsea
A 2-1 loss to Chelski with Torres bagging two. Hernandez levelled for us and it pains me to see Johnny Evans who I sold to them on the winning side! I am sure we will get better and am going to refrain from buying any defenders as I feel Smalling and Jones will be an excellent pairing. Vidic to step in too, I looked at Kjaer but he's too much money. I may change my mind. Chelsea deserved the win and on a whole we weren't good enough. After an impressive pre-season full of wins I thought we would turn them over but it was not to be...
Season starts soon and I have decided to QUIT England. Great memories but I want to focus on Manchester United, dare I say it this Arsenal fan quite likes them...
MAN U VS. CITEH
after chicarito sends us 1 up Ganso and Tevez put City 2-1 up heading into the break, we deserve to be level or ahead which is annoying, I tore into the boys at half time and the second half saw us hit the bar and we were back on top!!! in the dying minutes Aubameyang scores!!!! 2-2 is the final score and although I feel we should have won, I'll take a draw, what a hard fixture first game of the season!! but we look strong going forward and although not as solid at the back as I would have liked I can see a cure to the problem
I am going to start grouping my matches together I think, maybe 3 at a time or maybe the standout ones, not too sure. Second league game and we beat Fulham at the cottage 2-0.
Rooney The Creator
Played Rooney as a Trequartista behind Aubameyang who scored again! Young started and scored too. We looked solid at the back, more possession than them 55-45%-- 5 clear cut chances and 5 half chances. I put a high focus on defensive postioning and it seems to be working, this is early doors so we will see against better opposition.
Early Impressions
1) Danny doesn't seem to be a player I rate, he is 30 now and has not contributed much through pre-season or into the season as of yet, I will look to sell him in January thus pushing Pogba and Cleverly into the team much more.
2) Aubameyang is looking VERY good, lurks on the defenders shoulder and he has bags of pace and can finish, Fierro may find himself on the bench a bit...
3) Ongenda is on loan at Twente so I hope he can cut his teeth there and impress!
4) Young was never an option for England under me, but I am beginning to warm to him, he could be key for me...
5) Oscar has been fairly quiet but he is still adapting, I have lots of faith.
Any suggestions for me then come forth!
