Young manager Louis Ross the ex sunday league footballer took a trip to Berlin at the age of 17. He fell in love with the City and always dreampt of coming back. Football is his passion and after getting his coaching badges he managed a number of semi-professional clubs in Germany after moving to Berlin at the age of 30. A number of years later after great success in low league football Hertha Berlin came knocking, how could he turn it down when he could possibly make the club great again?!

This is the story of Louis Ross and Hertha Berlin, he wants to make the club great but he wants to be great too, an £11,750 contract for two years has given Louis time to try and transform this club around. The budget is less than modest with the current wage bill being 299k and the wage budget given being 300k... NO transfer funds at all either. Ross will be looking for astute signings but it will be very hard. The media predict Hertha Berlin coming 11th and Louis has promised a mid table finish with the hope of exceeding expectations. He does not want to let the fans or the city down and his dream of European football for Germany's old lady is beginning...

Help me out by posting tactics, players or anything else to help! ENJOY!! :D

Ross' favoured tactic is the 4-2-3-1 and as the funds are so limited he doesn't expect an influx of players
looks good,im currently managing st. pauli. Similar circumstances real fun save
Ross managed to get two free agents in :
Maniche and Fernando Meira, both Portugese.

Ross endured a tough pre-season:
Hertha BSC 1 - 3 SC Ritzing
Hertha BSC 1 - 2 AS Beauvis Oiso

Hertha BSC 0 - 0 LEMANS FC
Hertha BSC 5 - 0 Stade Bordeiais
Hertha BSC 0 - 4 Barcelona
Hertha BSC 5 - 0 Coventry

Not the pre-season Ross had in mind, he was disappointed with the early losses and draws to teams that Berlin should have beaten, but it was early days and the team need to gel under a new manager. He does not have as much control over the players as he would like with some teamtalks making the players stressed or unmotivated. Some appear not to be listening !
The new season kicks off shortly and hopefully a string of good results can change their attitude towards the young manager.
