Terrific Tottenham - My Journey to Success

Here you join me on my adventure to major success with a team who have been tipped for major glory but have not really lived up to it yet....

Man City vs Tottenham

As this game came up I felt a bit nervous to see how we faired against a team like city.

Here is the starting line up:

We started well and on the stroke of half time we gained a penalty which Luka modric had no trouble in stepping up to score. Then halfway into the second half Nico Krancjar scored a fantastic free kick in which to double our lead. But 7 minutes later Carlos Tevez's shot was fumbled by Ter stegen to make it 2-1. Then I decided to bring on Friedal as I couldnt afford to concede another easy goal. But much to my pleasure we held out for a win that I really didn't expect. Hopefully we can build from this.

All I can say, how did we not convert...we had plenty of chances....a bore draw 0-0. We have to improve for the second leg.

Comfortable 4-0 win. A Kaboul double, a Van der Vaart penalty and an own goal by their goalie won it for us and put us into the group stage.

AML with a teamwork tactic, deployed as WINGER with SUPPORT, and the striker as target man to feet = Bale is god

ok I appreciate the feedback but I am short of players who can play left back, may look to integrate a better ful back into the team. Thanks for reading btw! And Kaboul is playing brilliant. Assou-Ekotto comes back in a couple of weeks so bale will fill in till then

Update on left back....I have made a 11.75 million pound bid to bring Fabio of Man Utd to white Hart Lane. Watch this space...........

Withdrawn offer for fabio as they want 30 million, far too much for back up. If anyone can recommend a good left back, that would be appreciated
