Football Manager wont start..

My football manager wont start, doesnt matter how many times i click it just wont open.

My steam wont sign in due to me forgetting my password, does this have an effect and if so how can i rectify it?

can you not do password recovery with steam?

Nope cannot do that due to problems with my email.

I haven't done the steam dance yet (yeah, I'm still fiddling with an FM10 career and probably won't ever fo 11, but someday...), but "problems with my email"? can't you get a free account (gmail or whatever) and use that to register with steam?
