Offer Contract!

Greetings! I would really love if someone could help me on this one!

I just won the italial league again with Juve thanks to many of my key players. One of em, Robin Van Persie.. wanted a better contract, and i pressed the wrong button when i was going to comment on his request so i stated he would not get one. But even so i offered him the contract he wanted but then he turned it down.
Now when i try to offer him, its stated he is not interested in a offer and he also handed a transfer list request!

How can i get him to change his mind and once again be able to get him to want to play for my team again? I really want to offer him a new contract!

My friend adviced me that i keep him for the next sesong, and praise his ability and then he will be willing to accept new offer.. but is there any other ways i can fast get him to change his mind and stop being unhappy! :p

well play him loads and give him praise and renew when you think he is ready, oh yea use football manager modifier if you want but that is cheatin slightly (loads)

shaag just thought i'd let you know that season isn't spelt "sesong". you have spelt it the same way in two of your posts so just thought i'd let you know how it is spelt
