Montoya was class for me, but I don't know if he'll be the same for you. You could have gotten him on a Bosman really, his contract expires in the start of 12/13 season, but anyway, good job getting Montoya. Nice results!
Man City v Fulham

Today we had a very hard game, and we knew it was going to be tough, even on our great streak and high morale, and so it proved to be with their forwards. We were unlucky to concede an own goal in the 5th minute from Etuhu, however, I had hope when Dembele equalised, but it wasn't to be with Tevez and Toure scoring, ending our run.

Sunderland v Fulham

After our loss to Man City we wanted to bounce back with a win, and we needed one too, facing Sunderland in the 4th round of the League Cup. Luckily, Dembele was at the far post at the right time, scoring in the 7th minute, but for the rest of the game it was rather boring, although we could of scored more.

Fulham v Chelsea

I knew facing Chelsea was going to be tough, and I was definitely feeling the pressure as the new manager to make our side put in a performance against our rivals. I made sure we silenced Drogba, I didn't want him running us ragged today, which Hangeland and Hughes did a good job of. Overall, Chelsea dominated, having more shots on target and possession, however Dempsey capitalised on a brilliant through-ball from Sidwell in the 87th minute to give us the win. I was delighted with our performance, and so were our fans.

October Summary

Overall, this month has gone well, I'm happy with the results, especially with the tight schedule towards the end of the month. However, it was disappointing to have our streak ended, but it was Man City so I can't expect a win at all.

This month, I understandably wasn't a contender for manager of the month, due to losing to city, and the award went to Mancini. However, Dempsey did win player of the month for his contribution to our great form.

Other news: Senderos has suffered a twisted ankle and could be out for 12 days to 2 weeks while John Arne Riise should be back from injury within the next 7 days.

Dalle Valle has had his loan extended at Scunthorpe.

I have slight concern about Ruiz, I believe the injury has had a worse impact than first expected, he doesn't seem to be on the goalscoring form he was on before although, this could just be me looking for an excuse for not scoring more goals.
Fulham v Sevilla

Last time out against Sevilla we caused an upset an grabbed ourselves a win, but it wasn't the same story today at Craven Cottage. Sevilla showed a strong performance again, with Frederic Kanoute scoring in the 22nd minute, but after my half time team-talk got the boys fired up, Dembele equalised in the 46th minute. I would of liked to have won at home, but I can't complain with a draw.

Fulham v Newcastle

Hoping to make a good start to November, we faced Newcastle, who had been in bad form recently, and it showed. We slaughtered them on the day, dominating the match, with Newcastle not even managing one shot on target, but this match also came with very bad news, we've lost Dembele due to injury for 6 to 7 weeks, on the positive side I brought on Ruiz and ended his goal drought. I hope that Dembele's injury doesn't affect his form when he returns as he's being really helpful so far.

Liverpool v Fulham

First of all, sorry for not posting in a few days, been too busy.

Anyway, we travelled to Anfield today, with ITV calling us favourites but we were definitely the underdogs. I told the boys to do this for the fans and that's they did, we played equally great football to Liverpool in a heavily contested match, both teams managing 9 shots and 3 on target. Ruiz took the lead in the 24th minute and I had hope, but the legend that is Steven Gerrard equalised 4 minutes later.

Fulham v West Brom

Facing Tottenham on Saturday I decided to put my more important players on the bench, and it showed, grabbing a narrow, but important win against WBA. Orlando Sa grabbing us the winner with a neat finish from just inside the 18 yard box and then keeping out WBA wasn't really a challenge, they managed 1 shot on target.

Fulham v Tottenham

Tottenham travelled to Craven Cottage today, winning only 1 of their previous 6 away games, but that was no excuse for being slaughtered today. Their defence was in shambles, very poor marking, this showed with Ruiz scoring in the 7th minute with loads of space, their day got even worse 3 minutes later with Gallas putting the ball in his own net. In the 29th minute Riise scored another free-kick - which is the only thing which didn't come as a surprise today. 4 minutes later Ruiz scored another, completely unmarked again, we went in at half-time 4 goals up against Tottenham. In the second half things only got worse for Tottenham, with Riise scoring a header from a superb cross from Grygera, however, not everything can go your way, as Grygera got injured 4 minutes later. In the 66th minute Ruiz showed me that his injury hasn't affected him at all and is back to his usual goal-scoring way with another goal, making that a deserved hat-trick.

I don't think I'll get many other results better than this.

Looks like you're doing superb. Could I get an SS of the current league table?
November Summary

Bit late, I know. The results have gone well for us, especially thrashing Newcastle 5-0 and Tottenham 6-0, putting us at the top of the table, I would of liked to win against Liverpool but it was a difficult match for us.

However, what angered me was the fact I'm still without a manager of the month award, despite those two great results against Newcastle and Fulham, probably because of drawing to Liverpool, which was a good result for us.

None of my players won player or young player of the month and after the 6-0 win, with Ruiz grabbing a hat-trick only Riise was named in the team of the week.

If I continue this form with Fulham and don't win manager of the year I will be annoyed, especially after defeating some top-tier teams.
what tactic are you using ?? is it grid or anything like that

Still using Mr Hough's (http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/football-manager-2012-tactics-training/90781-mr-hough-rolls-back-years-fm12.html)

Haven't found the opportunity to introduce my own yet, I will do towards the end of the season and pre-season as Mr Hough's I will admit is too good and unrealistic.
