hi guys, i was wondering if it was possible to manage an international club and a regular club at the same time from the start of the game???
you can, its simple just apply for a international team, you get appointed and whilst playing for club u will also go to international matches when international breaks come up. simple really.
Technically, you can't add yourself as the manager to both teams.
i.e. you can make yourself the Arsenal boss right off the bat, or the England boss right off the bat, but you can't do both. You have to earn one of the positions

And the general comment is, it's relatively hard, but not nearly as hard as in real life
You need to keep an eye on your international players, and as you get caught up in the rigors of the club season, it's easy to forget. I have coaches out "obtaining match reports" constantly, and you have to keep an eye on them - when you've got enough information on a player (I consider five reports plenty), I usually pull the scouting activity so it can go to other players in the pool. Although it's nothing more than bookkeeping, keeping track of players who were dropped for one international break (due to injury or other reasons) is important... you tend to forget about them, and FM itself give you no specific help in tracking those players. I'd actually like you to be able to designate a provisional squad of maybe 40 players whom you can see info on all on one screen, rather than only getting it for the most recent selection or the much larger national pool. Well, that's just a wish-list item for me.
