Geovanny Caicedo is a brilliant cb. If you use 48 months instalments you' ll get him.
Also Luigi Bruins and Soukouna are available for frees and will murder your league. Zezinho may be a bridge too far but try anyway.
Atouba, Abubakari Yacubu, Matteo Ferrari and Mitreski are also free and will do a job 1st season.
Look for free loans - Try O.Norwood from Man Utd (I got him on a free second season together with Petrucci for Bielefeld and they have been brill. Now in second season they are both worth 3+mil. Look at the top clubs in Germany. They have a lot of good players in their reserves/under 19 squads (look for players worth at least 1 mil)who are available to loan with no fee and no wage contribution: Id recommend Danny Da Costa (rb/cb), Gavranovic cf (schalke reserves) and elias kachunga (rw/cf). Try Nikao from At Mineiro reserves.
You think he'll be able to get Gavranović? Isn't that a bit of a stretch?
Yes, I do.
I managed to get him in the second season when I was Bielefeld in league two. No loan fee and no wages contribution. I am now in my third season and in the Bundesleague. I thought that having won the cup two years in a row as well as the EUROPA LEAGUE in season two thereby increasing Bielefeld's stature markedly he would agree to come if I bought him but he would not enter negotiations when I tried. I then tried to loan him again and managed to get him 50% contribution of his wages plus a loan fee. Bearing in mind the fact that he scored loads last season I thought that would be well spent. And he proved me right as his goals have fired me to the top of the league.
My point is that if I got him in second season as a "free" loan for a lowly team such as Bielefeld he can also come first season for "free" in teams with (slightly) better stature.
Same goes for Danny Da Costa who came two seasons on loan and I bought him the third. First time I used him and he's been consistently brill.
