Hello all.

Around 2 weeks ago I decided to make a (more)realistic/tough game where I start unemployed in parts of Asia (my home country Malaysia, China, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia) and work my way up.

By the 2nd day of gameplay, I've accepted a job in MB Johor Bahru, a club just promoted to the Malaysian Premier League (2nd division) with no money, and lousy facilities.

Now I'm on my last few games of my second season (July 2012)and battling for mid table security ( I personally think we could have done better had I planned a better pre season; we were struggling all the way through the first half due to lack of match fitness)

My ambition is to stay here in MBJB for at least 10 years, turn it into a well known Asian product by then, though I'm unsure of the possibility of that happening. Hopefully develop players good enough for me to take them abroad, bring up Malaysia's rep in the footballing world.

I wish to post some updates as recently I've just found out no one's posted anything similar on the net. Closest was someone playing a Chinese Super League team predicted to win the league.

So I shall be posting pictures soon, maybe starting from after my players' holidays onwards. Hopefully I can help anyone and also to learn from other managers' experience.

P.S: Is it possible to increase the money flowing in/out of a country by raising its reputation in the world? Maybe through sugar daddies and foreign investments?
Cheers =)
Good luck, playing through the Asian Leagues is definitely challenging. Getting your reputation up just means winning games, and divisions.

It's possible, and it should make for a fantastic story!
Come to the S-League someday mate! :P

Lol you never know. Tampines are in the AFC Confederations Cup Q-Finals in my save =P
That's awesome haha.

Truth be told I don't watch my own country's league much :P
Only teams I know are Tampines Rovers, Singapore Armed Forces, Home United.
Good luck AmirJohan.

Looking forward to seeing a non-Euro story.
Makes a change from the usual "ooh, i signed Yaya Sanogo and Sime Vrsaljko, I won the CL" type stories. :))

I plan to start an Asian career for the first time in the coming months.
Just not sure who to start with.

Just my 2cents ... I would really like to see more Asian leagues like the Vietnam, UAE, Saudi Arabian and even the "smaller" nations leagues in the game. Same for the African leagues as well.

I know I could download some of these leagues ... but it would be cool if they were "official" in the game.
awesome idea... not the usual story :D i like it
I'll be following :)

As promised:

Based on the club profile's league standings chart, I seem to do fine, but I'm a bit more demanding. Hoping to fight for promotion or thereabouts next season.

Gives you an idea of my playing squad. Most of these high(er) rated players are new, except for the centrebacks.

Tactics. Basically I have 2 fullbacks who attack reluntlanty (lol). Central midfielders who take turns to make late runs to the box and defend back. Patient wingers, Strikers who do quite alot. A High pressing game from the midfield onwards, and a stand-off defensen meaning a high defense which stands off to buy time for the CM's and fullbacks to rush in. Keeper atacks the ball quite aggresively too.

Me! =)

Just yer ole' general info.

Lousy facilities

As I said, not too happy with the performace, but not bad for a team tipped for relegation battles the past 2 years eh

Runners up in the lower division in 2011, hence the newly promoted status. I'm excited to se my youth squad get the runners up spot though!

As you can see I need to work out the wages. The wages were okay last year (14K a month) but the club was still making losses. So I'm gonna take a gamble and get good players to help me achieve better prize money and fanbase.

Also disappointed that the training facilities upgrade got cancelled =(

Any comments are welcome. Thanks!
