OK, I'm fed up f this "not being good enough" business which has made me stop a couple of stories before, or if I've got bored eg. my Zenit story, my Wednesday stories. This time it's for real. I'm fed up of managing Wednesday now, and have decided that non-league management isn't for me, so I've gone down a division to manage Swindon Town, and hopefully bring success to the County Ground.

I've been given a minimum target of winning the nPower League 2, and to achieve this, I've been given a transfer budget of £120k and a wage budget of £65k. Now for a City fan, that's hard to deal with, but I have my eyes on a couple of frees and loans that could improve the squad, although I have been offered a couple of very good youth prospects, but the board have been adamant they won't give me more money.

I'm already most of the way through pre-season, with the next update to come following a last pre-season match, detailing all my transfers and pre-season results.

Up The Robins!
so you're fed up?
Of Wednesday
Okay, so these are 3 stories so far, plus this, make it four, Have you accomplished anything with these so far? or just some more posts to add to your post count and make use-less topics? I never liked to be negative, but it is hard for me to bear these useless stories which don't get past the 2 or 3 years mark.. if you get bored this fast, don't do stories. Sorry for my negativity, but it's common sense.

Overall, I am happy with that pre-season, especially the Portsmouth result, and the capture of Beevers from Wednesday. I did have a few more loans lined up, but I’m only permitted four, so was unable to sign others, but I’ve got enough squad depth that it doesn’t matter.

This will be my last update for a week, as I’m going away, and as my career is on a PC, not a laptop, and I can’t be bothered finding a way to play this elsewhere, I won’t be able to play matches, and update this story.
lol yyou loaned a player of city and united?
do they fight in training or what?
Not yet, but if Balotelli came...
Try to loan a lot, and pick up a lot of free players :)
As recommended to me by mdlp1991, I have signed veteran striker Geert van Ouden on a free transfer from former club HSC'21, on a £1,400 1-year contract.
I hope you do continue this, I'm surprised Swindon can afford £1,400 a week tbh :))

I had to put him as "key player" to afford it
At every opportunity try get more parent clubs to get big loanees ;)
Tresor Kandol was beast in someone else's save I saw. Top scorer in League Two in that guy's save.
