OK, I'm fed up f this "not being good enough" business which has made me stop a couple of stories before, or if I've got bored eg. my Zenit story, my Wednesday stories. This time it's for real. I'm fed up of managing Wednesday now, and have decided that non-league management isn't for me, so I've gone down a division to manage Swindon Town, and hopefully bring success to the County Ground.
I've been given a minimum target of winning the nPower League 2, and to achieve this, I've been given a transfer budget of £120k and a wage budget of £65k. Now for a City fan, that's hard to deal with, but I have my eyes on a couple of frees and loans that could improve the squad, although I have been offered a couple of very good youth prospects, but the board have been adamant they won't give me more money.
I'm already most of the way through pre-season, with the next update to come following a last pre-season match, detailing all my transfers and pre-season results.
Up The Robins!
