I've gone away and not been able to bring my Swindon FM save away with me, but I've got a laptop and my FM disc with me and I was wondering if there was a way to play my Swindon save on my laptop?
hi mate, yes you can play your previous game.

first, install the game at your laptop, then copy paste your previous game file to your laptop, and finally load the game. Somehow, if you forgot bringing the game file i suggest you could ask someone at your house to email it to your laptop. I hope this is what you're looking for. cheers!
What so I get someone to email the file from wherever it is outside the game to my email, then I load it to wherever FM files are on my laptop?
yes, you can copy your game file from 'my documents/sports interactive/football manager 2012/game' then email it to your laptop, after you receive the file from your email then put it (after installing the game at your laptop) at 'my documents/sports interactive/football manager 2012/game'.
OK thanks I'll be able to update my story now
