4-4-2 and 4-2-3-1... I use them very often but each is different because of the personal instructions...

thats one good thing about the improvement of FM 08, just choosing a formation isnt everything.

i would personally say that 4-4-2 and 4-4-2 diamond work really well.

but then you need players to fit that formation and your style of play and personal instructions etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.

and the style of your whole team needs to connect!

well fuck it, for me these are the best.
of course it depends on tactics,but i just told this formations are good for me.
i can make them useful.
the thing is,i prefer classic 4-4-2 and diamond because you do not need fuckin' RWB,LWB,AMR,AML,FR,RL.that is the best thing about these formations.

but of course you can make every formation good if you have the players.
i like 3-5-2 with AMR,AML(i use it all the time in PES) but it is easier to play with classic positions in fm.

yeh i know what you mean. its like we all have a 'basic' setup to our formations.

and it doesnt really make any of our tactics as the best tactic. because in fm 08 there is not such a thing.

in fm 06 there was though, i remember if u had made 1 perfect tactic you could win nearly everything haha.

I know their is not ONE BEST TACTIC i was just curious on peoples opinions on what they thought
