This is by far the longest online game I've ever played on any FM, having played the series since Championship Manager 01/02 and playing Multi Manager games then, this was by far the longest and most rewarding.
It started with us taking over AC Milan and Juventus respectively slightly editing the transfer budgets to give us equal spending power and such. The game was somewhat one sided until about 6 seasons in, with the Manager in charge of Juventus tearing away with 6 consecutive titles and many domestic trophies but never the elusive Champions League! On the Milan side of things, not much was won coming constantly second best to Juventus, only managing to get a few Italian Cups and so on.
Anyway the Juventus manager was approached by Real Madrid with an offer which gave him a transfer budget of around 400 Million, this was an offer he couldn't refuse and instantly accepted to job in order to try get his hands on that elusive Champions league. Taking the best players from his Juventus team with him, he gained the Champions league in the first season with no real competition.
This left the Milan manager with reduced competition in Italy, and after winning the League for he first time, was able to build on his squad, winning the Champions league the next season dominating all domestic competitions also. The third season after the move again belonged to the Real Madrid manager, knocking out Milan in the champions league 6-4 on aggeragate in the Semi finals thanks to a first min sending off by the Milan captain Ganso.
This leads us to the season we're in now, and I just thought i'd share some of the fun we've had with you guys here. Here are some crazy screenshots of the key players now in our game!
