Rangers Newco hire Patrick McKeown as the new manager

After Ally McCoist decided to call it a day at Rangers, there were several names linked with the club. Some of the names included Harry Redknapp, Gordon Strachan and an unknown person by the name of Patrick McKeown who in the end agreed to be the manager. The chairman believed that Patrick could lead the club back to the SPL and back to its glory days.
Good luck with the newco, Patrick.

This is results from my first season as Rangers Newco and I must say I was very impressed with results and the performances of my players but more on that soon where I will post my top 5 players.

The results round the red ring were just my last 5 results of the season.

TRANSFERS 2011/2012

A number of my youth players left as they didn't feature in my plans and were simply not good enough so went to find new clubs. I was able to bring in some players as I was very desperate especially in the midfield area and up front. Was delighted to bring back Rhys McCabe who had a potential and certainly lived up to that. Fans did question me about signing him but he showed me that he had grown up and certainly turned the fans minds round. I also got in a youngster called Coalan Lavery who had a brilliant debut season scoring 19 in total who is only 18 years old. I was very pleased with my signings.

League Table 2011/2012

This is how the table looked right at the end of the season with only 1 defeat coming at the hands of Queens Park. We did break a number of records along the way such as the most points and most goals scored in a season and the amount of games undefeated and straight wins.

Next I'll post the awards and my top 5 performers.
You lost one game in the Scottish Third Division!? Unacceptable. :D
Well done. Along with your top 5 performers, can you also post a screenshot of all your players with their ability and potential (assistant report)? I would like to see how it changes in the second division.
Nice one, im trying something similar with Alloa. Cant believe how hard it is to get any good players. Even getting some loan players from 1st division can be impossible!

Yeah I know but my assistant manager took care of that whilst I went on a break so I blame him :P. I'm gonna do that separate so first post my top 5 performers then on a different comment I'll post a screenshot of just my young players rather than my old players like Neil Alexander, Lee McCulloch etc. I'll only post players like Kyle Hutton, Rhys McCabe if thats ok :)

This is my squad showing their current ability, their potential ability and the assistant manager's recommendation. The squad definitely shows that some of the younger players like Rhys McCabe, Kyle Hutton and Stuart Urquhart have plenty of potential.

My top 5 performers

Re-signed Rhys McCabe and like I said earlier in my story, fans at first were not happy but he completely changed their minds about him by putting in brilliant performances throughout the season. Delighted with him and hopefully can impress in the new season.

His debut season at Rangers aka Rangers Newco definitely one of my best players this season without doubt at all. Was really impressed with him at left back netting 7 goals and 10 assists. Not bad for a defender.

Another young player. This time Kyle Hutton younger brother of former Gers player Alan. Kyle was another one who impressed in the centre of midfield grabbing 3 goals and 8 assists.

Very strong and quick at centre and right back. He put in excellent performances all the way throughout the season. He was one of my key players and would probably have not finished where I did without him at the back.

Thought I would save the best for last :) what a player and what a hot prospect this player is. Got this Irishman on a free transfer. Was only 18 at the time but he showed that he can cut it out in the first team by netting 17 goals in his debut season and finished runner up. Hopefully he can bang in more this season at a slightly higher level.

Seven of my players were named in the team of the season. Though Lee Wallace should have been there. Have no idea on how he didn't manage to get in the team of the season.

He was unlucky to not be in my top 5 performers but still put in excellent performances and was therefore awarded with Player of the season after netting 7 goals and 15 assists.

That is a good squad, looking at that potential, but..that might change as your reputation increases though. Can't wait to see you competing against Celtic in the top division.
Same thing as Akash said, will be good to see how this turns out in the future, especially against Celtic and in Europe.
