There have been rumours about carroll coming back to tyneside over the last few weeks but I'm not sure we need him. West Ham have made a 17m bid for him but recently he stated he would only move to a club playing european football (possibly meaning Newcastle)

What do you guys think. Will he stay or leave Liverpool?
Come on I want more votes what do you think?
Sh*t, we made a 17M bid for him? We're so screwed.
I say he'll stay at L'pool. They won't let him go for more then 20m>
I think he will stay at liverpool but keep voting and give your view.
Brendan Rogers is adamant that Carroll wil remain a Liverpool player in spite of the recent rumours linking him to West Ham or in particular his former club Newcastle United.

It's a strange one - he has always struck me as slightly resentful that he (in his own mind) got sent to Liverpool against his wishes. But, who in their right mind would have turned down that transfer fee.
With the opportunities he had at Liverpool, he hardly set the world alight, and now the new manager wants to, even if he won't say it out loud, get shot of him.
The money paid for him by Liverpool was nothing short of foolhardy, and he has really through no fault of his own being stuffed by that.
I'd say the kid himself wants to go home to Newcastle, and I personally think he'd do well at West Ham, if he can get over the fact that Newcastle sold him in the first place because no one turns down a GBP35M bid.
EDIT: With him being "injured" and the fact that Liverpool are accepting offers for him makes a mockery of the "he'll stay and fight for his place". It's more "we want to sell him, we just need to make some of the silly money spent on him back, else the Board will kick us."
We should be giving him a second season to prove himself. If he really fails again then off he goes.
I think your gaffers either being given the word to sell him, or reached that conclusion himself. He'll go, either out completely or on loan, but I don't think he and Mr Rodgers see eye to eye.

yeah i agree, he did really well in the last part of the season, so hopefully we will see more of the same if he isnt sold or loaned out
Would be foolish to off-load him in my opinion, but if reports are true that West Ham are in with a 36 million bid I won't mind seeing the back of him.

I Doubt the reports are true, No one would pay that amount for him, i believe Liverpool are looking to get around 20 million for him and if someone comes in with that then he will leave
Hmmm, well given Carroll wasn't even in the team against against Gomel that strengthens the case for him leaving.
He had a groin strain and Liverpool didn't want to aggravate it, supposedly.
