Breaking news coming out of parc de princes is that Carlo Ancelotti has left his post after only 3 months in charge because of personal problems. the man PSG have turned to s former international footballer Shane Swanston who has no managerial experience to his name whatsoever. but after a brief talk to the chairman underlaying his philosophy and vision for the club, they were left with no other choice than to employ Mr Swanston

my first job is to take a look through my squad and determine who has and has not got the quality to lift PSG to the next level. ill be looking to realease any of my under 18's squad who havnt got the potential to eventually challenge for first team honours so there will definitly be players leaving this club in the near future

The board have made it quite clear that Lique 1 is the main priority for the season and with that have given me a transfer budget of $84.5m to spend on new players. ill also be looking to challenge for the European Champions League this year and with some clever signings who knows what is possible . THE SKYS THE LIMIT....

Transfer targets have been identified and we have enquired about the availability of a few players, Klass Jan Huntelaar , Rafael , Daniel Alves and Robin Van Persie are just a few players where looking at at the moment but will not be purchasing all of them.

Very exciting news coming out of France today is that PSG have announced the signings of Klass Jan Huntelaar and young Santos goalkeeper Rafael
. both players have stated that they are very happy be be joining PSG in an exciting time for the club and will be doing their utmost in order to bring silverware to Paris

we have invested in Huntelaar because i feel he will be a very good backup and can also lead the line when Ibra isnt fit or when i need something else in attack. his natural goal scoring ability and record will put fear into opposition defences

there was no second option in this case as we see this highly rated Brazilian goalkeeper challenging for the number 1 spot from day one .

in other transfer news Guillaume Hoarau has left for Inter Milan for a fee believed to be around $3.5m. we have also released 10 youth team players from the club. we wish them all the best for the future

Best of luck, Huntelaar is an absolute beast. Even when he was like 32 on my game i think his finishing was still 20 or something insane. Enjoy

Preseason has officially started for Paris Saint Germain. we have been invited to play in a friendly tournament in Cairo alongside Fc Twente , Al Ahly and Club Africab. we were drawn against Club African in the first semi final whilst Fc Twente play Al Ahly in the other semi

we managed to beat Club African quite easily in our match. the positive thing was that we were able to play some of our promising youngsters aswell to give them some game time

we managed to progress to the final of the friendly cup where we would be playing Fc Twente.
another comfortable for PSG as we totally outplayed Fc Twente and showed our class so early in pre-season. could this be a sign of things to come. klass Jan Huntelaar bagging a brace on his full debut

our remaining fixtures see us play Team dur wen , Desp Alves , Toluca , Dijon , Borussia Dortmund and Dukia Prague

PSG have announced that Everton Santos has joined Cagliari for $1.2m. this is another step of clearing our wage bill on players that dont have the quality to challenge for places. Zoumana Camara has joined turkish giants Fenerbahce on a season long loan. Fenerbache have the option to buy Camara for a fee of $925k.

we have also announced the release of another 5 youth players. ill be looking to bolster the youth team with a few young signings

Arsenal have come in with an offer of $4.1m for our highly rated attacking midfielder Hervin Ongenda which we have rejected

pre-season is officially over for the season and im fairly happy with our performances to go with it . the main objective out of preseason was to get our players match fit before the big start

Dijon vs Paris Saint Germain ( 0-1 )

Paris Saint Germain vs Dukla Prague ( 3-0 )

so as you can see some solid results but also quite disappointed with our loss to Borussia Dortmund. Huntelaar netting 4 times during preseason

Envious eyes were cast over Paris Saint Germain this morning as chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi has injected and extra $37.5m into the club

at the end of July financial figures have been anonounced losses of $9.25m. there is some positives though as $3.4m of that was payed in compensation to players released over the past month

Transfer News

PSG have announced the signing of promising wingback Lucas Digne for a fee believed to be around $2.7m. Lucas Digne has told Paris radio how happy he is to join the biggest club in france but is also sad to be leaving Lille

with this signing PSG have released Ousmane Dabo because we feel he does not have to required attributes to be a success at PSG. while placing Siaka Tiene on the transfer list, ill be looking for $2.6 m in order for him to leave

i would also like to announce we have taken Highly rated midfielders Enzo Zidane and Manuel Giandonato on loan with the option to sign both players and have placed them in the under 19's setup.
Dennis Praet is also in discussions with us and will make any announcement regarding this transfer in the near future

Siaka Tiene has completed his move to West Brom for a fee of $2.5m. with Tiene feeling alienated at PSG we thought this move was best for everyone involved

The European Champions League is back for another year. the managers of all 32 teams competing arrived at ( sion ) Switzerland to cast there eye over the draw. with PSG being seeded 3rd for the draw i was fearing the worst as we could have been drawn against 2 European giants .
Here is the Draw for the Champions League:

im quite pleased with the draw and only Bayern Munich should stand in the way of us progressing to the knockout rounds. but we will have to be wary of CSKA in Russia
