Hey guys, well I've never done this before, however I'm going to have a crack at writing my arsenal story. Now I strongly believe in young talent and I've chosen Arsenal purely because they possess the likes of oxlade chamberlain and co. I have decided to allow a transfer budget in the first Transfer window as I want to sign a few youngsters. I will post every match, injury updates and transfers for the club and from around the world. Also I will post about transfer targets. Hopefully I will have a good pre-season as I'm looking at my youngsters to see who will feature in the first team.
I have decided that realistically I'm not going to win the title in my first year, I have decided to set my expectations to merely a title challenge, allowing 43 million pounds of transfer funds. This doesn't add any unwanted pressure from the board if i dont succeed,
Sounds like this could interesting story, will be reading.
I have started the clear out of unwanted players, and have transfer listed- Arshavin
Rosicky
Benayoun
Park chu-young
Alex Song
I am also looking to bring in young talent such as Christen Eriksen and Seung-Min, two 18/19 year old wonderkids.
My first pre- season game went to plan, with a young starting line with a few more experienced players of Szczesny,Gibbs,Vermaelen,Koscielny,Sagna,Song,Frimpong,Miyaichi,walcott,Oxlade-Chamberlain,Chamakh
against Colorado winning 3-0 with oxlade-chamberlain scoring early on, late in the game, subs Park chu young and Miquel making a good impact with a goal apiece. I'm happy with the teams performance, as with a young inexperienced team, theres always a worry of complacency and inexperience.
Will be following!!!!!

I'm going to do a brief summary of pre season and the transfers and games etc. then into a lot more detail as the real matches begins.
On the transfer side of things, I feel that It's gone rather well, I managed to offload players surplus to requirements. Arshavin-10mil to city, Watt-loaned to charlton, Mannone-1.5mil to ac Milan And brought in my original targets of Eriksen for 6 mil and Heung-Min on loan in order to hopefully buy at the end of the season. I have made my first 'big money' buy from PSG, with Sakh, 21 year old CD with a potential four stars for 25 million. After starting all my pre-season, ryo miyaichi recieved offer after offer from mancini and alex ferguson, four from mancini, one from ferguson, I rejected them all due to miyaichi being a first team player this season. And benayoun has been sent packing back to chelsea.
My Pre season games went well, Chamakh started all of the games ahead of the unfit v'Persie and was our pre season top scorer with with six goals, here are the results of all six games.
2-0 vs Hyundai-(chamakh and walcott)
1-0 vs Daejon- (walcott)
1-2 vs Suwon- (chamakh)
3-1 vs FCP- (oxlade-chamberlain,gervinho x2 (sub)
6-2 vs Catania- (chamakh x2, arteta (pen) Oxlade chamberlain,Bunjaki (sub), walcott
I have set all bonuses to high as the team will be young and inexperienced, hopefully the financial incentive will pull through.
Arsenal vs Everton
Arsenal 0-0 Everton
Our first premier league match was a disappointing one, fielding a team of,
GK:Szczesny
LB:Gibbs
CB:Vermaelen
CB:Sakho
LB:Sagna
CM:Eriksen
CM:Arteta
AML:Miyaichi
AMC:Heung-Min
AMR:Oxlade-Chamberlain (walcott 53)
STR:Van Persie
The game started out well with arsenal having a couple of scrappy corners cleared off the line, we completely controlled the game, Van persie had some cracking 30 yarders saved well by Howard, But unfortunately we just couldnt break through, man of the match bacary sagna who was a constant threat bombing down the right flank.
Ryo Miyaichi is still proving ever popular with the manchester clubs, a bidding war has ensued with man united bidding highest so far with 8 million bid, obviously i have rejected.
Next up is the european cup qualifying round first leg against OB, the line up was as follows.
Arsenal 3:0 OB
GK:Szczesny
LB:santos
CB:Vermaelen
CB:Sakho
LB:Sagna
CM:Eriksen
CM:Arteta
AML:Miyaichi
AMC:Heung-Min
AMR:Oxlade-Chamberlain (walcott 70)
STR:Van Persie (chamakh 70)
Goalscorers: Van Persie, Walcott, Chamakh
Man of the match: Sagna
I kept the same line-up to the draw against everton last week just doing a straight swap between gibbs and santos as gibbs got a knock in the last game, however santos stepped up to the plate and helped us to a 3:0 win, we started off strong and in the first half we were controlling the game, OB just didnt have the class and van persie soon scored the opener, just minutes later, miyaichi had a penalty shout turned down by a rather biased ref,but in the second half, substitutions were made with immediate impact, both walcott and chamakh continuing their pre-season form with a goal apiece.
Manchester United Vs Arsenal Premier Division
Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal
GK:Szczesny
LB:Vermaelaen
CB:Djourou
CB:Sakho
LB:Sagna
CM:Song
CM:Ramsey
AML:Miyaichi
AMC:Eriksen
AMR:Walcott
STR:Chamakh
Goalscorers: Giggs, Sakho
Man of the match; Szczesny
I decided to make a lot of changes in this match seeing as it was a must draw or win game at Old Trafford, so i put in some more experienced players like Song, Chamakh had to come in for Van Persie who is unfortunately injured. The game started badly with Ryan Giggs scoring at the 25 minute mark with a lovely curling effort, the game was very tight until the second half where szczesny faced a barrage of shots on goal but did well to prevent any other goals going in, nani was a constant threat down the right hand side but didnt have that much luck in front of goal. Walcott showed some nice touches and set up the corner from which sakho scored with a lovely header in the 83rd minute. Overall a reasonable result against the champions. This result puts us in 10th place with 2 points after two games. Not a good start, but fixable.
OB vs Arsenal Champions Cup Qualifying round leg 2
OB 1-1 Arsenal OB 1:4 Arsenal
GK:Szczesny
LB:Vermaelaen
CB:mertesacker
CB:Sakho
LB:Sagna
CM:Song
CM:Ramsey
AML:Miyaichi
AMC:Heung Min
AMR:oxlade Chamberlain
STR:Chamakh
Goalscorers: walcott
Man of the match: Jack Lehm (OB)
This game was just about getting into the champions cup,i knew we already had a three goal lead therefore a defensive approach was made going into the game, and that really cancelled out any class to the game, walcott came off the bench late on to score an equaliser but apart from that, no real note of interest.
It was always a priority to get into the champions cup,we don't stand too much of a chance of winning, however the financial benefits are much more rewarding than winning the EURO cup.
Champions Cup Group Draw
We are drawn in Group A with
Udinese
Olympic Lyonnais
M, Haifa
Quite an easy group that we shouldnt have much trouble getting past, the recent results I feel will change, once we start winning, we'll get on a roll and It'll be hard to stop us.
