The Italian Dream Begins...

As i sipped the last bit of wine that was left i had made my decision. I contacted the managing director and informed him my decision.



As i relaxed on my sofa and and looked at this photo on my wall my heart was filled with feelings for the club.



A.C Milan were one of the bigger clubs that time around and we were a dominant force to be reckoned with. But now everything is looking different.

The team has sold its big stars and left some of them move on. The team now has lost its shine. Now was the time the manager had to prove his worth. Instead of standing up, the present manager has stepped down sighting the board not backing him. Now the club is need of a leader, a person who can take up the responsibility.

Two days ago some friends of mine at the club called me and expressed their concern for our club. They wanted me to take some action and action did i take. I contacted the Director and we spoke about the matter.

It was about this decision that i made my phone call early on.

The Big Meeting

The next day i arrived at the club's administrative office to have showdown talks with the officials.



After hours of discussion about the future of the club we came to an decision. The Board have called for a Press meet tomorrow with the subject of an historic announcement.

I went Back home and switched the T.V for some entertainment. But there was headlines flashing every were. It was carrying the news:"Maldini" Savior of A.C Milan.. I began to receive phone calls from many new stations about me being spotted at the administrative office. I declined to react to any.

I called my friend Ambrosini and informed him about the advancement that had taken place.

Now every one was waiting for the announcement.

The Big Announcement

The day of the press conference has finally arrived. The reporters flocked in numbers for the announcement.



I along with the Director Galliani and captain Ambrosini. There was pin drop silence in the room. The reporters had already guessed the announcement.

The director began his address:

Director :"Today is a big day in the history of A.C Milan. Every body knows that we have sold some big players or let some of them move on. Adding to that our manager also left the club. After hours of meeting with the owner we have made some big decisions. The first historic decision. We are pleased to announce that former milan legend Maldini has been appointed as the new manager of the club. We beleive this will help the club as he knows the club inside out and he has earned respect from all quarters. The next big announcement is that the money acquired from sale will be directly made available for maldini to improve the squad. Hope this begins a new era in A.C Milan.

Maldini : I'm pleased to be appointed as the new manager. This club is my home and my family. I want to take the club back to the heights of my time and i thank the owner for his effort in improving the club.

Ambrosini : I'm pleased that Maldini has been appointed as the new manager. He has the respect of the whole team and his appointment will definitely lift the spirits of the whole squad. Hopefully with the backing of the board and the fans we can achieve success at A.C Milan.

The press conference has ended.

Now that i have been appointed as manager my task begins now. I had called for a teem meeting and shared my vision and ambition for the club and had chat with every player.



Next i called my assistant Mr. Tassotti and other backroom staff and discussed about the tactics and transfer market activities.

After extensive analysis i came up with this initial tactic:

As assured by the owner i have been given a transfer kitty of $91M for the objective of Title challenge.

My top transfer targets are:
Van der Wiel

Pre season

The Pre season fixture list is out and we are flying out tomorrow. I have placed my transfer list to the director and he has assured me the targets will be bought.

As i'm was in the middle of preseason training and fixtures, director Galliani called me to inform me that almost all the transfer targets were secured and the owner has given me further backing. He informed me that the players signed will be sent to join me in the tour. He also informed me that this will be the biggest spending spree by the club and will make them contenders along with PSG, Man City,Real Madrid.

After having Left A.C Milan for Real Madrid for a figure of 65M Kaka is linked with a return to Milan. After failing to assert himself mourinho has decided it was time he left the midfielder go. A.C Milan are the favorites to sign the Attacking Midfielder. A fee of 20M is quoted by the media.
