AUGUST-A fairly solid start to the Keeling Regime

13th

Arsenal 1-0 Man City- Not a bad way to Kick off the Season

Wojciech Szczesny

What a way to start! The Gunners dominated the ball and deservedly won. Douglas Costa scored a well worked goal early on and Man City never looked like scoring. It was puzzling that Wojciech Szczesny got Man of the Match-City only had 4 shots and 2 on target!

14th

Bacary Sagna signs new Deal

Bacary Sagna signed a new contract worth £57k a week with performance based extras. The deal was for 3 years

17th

Panathinaikos 1-2 Arsenal- The Gunners take a lead back to the Emirates

Dede 23'
Edinson Cavani 94'

Dede

The Gunners left it late but they did get the goal. This was thanks to a Cavani poach from inside the box. The Gunners took a solid lead back to Emirates and were now huge favourites to progress.

20th

Blackburn 1-1 Arsenal- Gritty Rovers contain the Gunners

Milan Badelj 70,

Milan Badelj

This was a fairly boring . Even though the Gunners had the majority of the ball they couldn't create many chances. It was obvious that the squad hadn't fully gelled yet.

24th

2-0 Panathinaikos- The deficit was too much for the Greeks to handle

Douglas Costa 63'
Bacary Sagna 77'

Douglas Costa

Two second half goals proved too much for the Greeks. The Gunners eased into the Champions Group Stages.

25th

Arsenal get a tough group in The Champions League

Arsenal got a very tricky group, which included the French and Italian Champions.

27th

Arsenal Draw West Brom in League cup 3rd round

Arsenal 2-1 Wolves- Cavani saves the Gunners

Edinson Cavani 77',90'

Edinson Cavani

Well, Well the Gunners looked destined to loose. That was until the messiah Edinson Cavani came along (he looks like Jesus too!) with 2 late goals. The fans loved him already

N.B. My game froze so I had to redo the league cup draw and the Wolves Match
Good start, except the Blackburn result. It's nice to see how quickly your squad seems to have gelled. What's your Squad Harmony rating?

And what tactics and match preparation are you focusing on?

Thanks, my squad harmony is good. match preparation is teamwork, due to it being the start of the season. I'm focusing on the 424 and the 4231 tactics

League Cup

Shinji Kagawa 15'

The Premier Division Table

So far so good. I am really surprised that your players are playing so well together so quickly, but if they don't mind, I don't mind.
Also, could you show me your finances, please? I really want to see how it was changed because you edited it.
21 goals in 6 matches is pretty neat. Good results. Your tactics seem to be working so far.

Good results. Keep it up. Add some more spice to the story, if you can make up some imaginary incidents or summat.
Great start to the season and some of the matches have had excellent results, big wins against teams and that should be a easy win against The Baggies and you should win the Group Stage

Im wasn't sure what i was doing when i edited the finances. I just gave the team loads and loads of money and removed the debts. Here are my finances

Yeah they thankfully are! I'm not saying anything at the moment but a twist may be appearing in the future...

#62798 Walsall_Craig : Great start to the and some of the matches have had excellent results, big wins against teams and that should be a easy win against The Baggies and you should win the Group Stage
thanks for commenting, i think i will win what is a tough group

OCTOBER - Same old, same old

October looked as if it would be the toughest month so far for the Gunners. The month included home clashes against Lille, Manchester United and Liverpool.

1.10.11 - - Arsenal 5-0 Liverpool - South beats North

Premier Division

Thomas Vermaelen (pen) 30'
Aly Cissohko 36'
Glenn Johnson 52'
Nicolas Otamendi 61'
Edinson Cavani 64'
Jamie Carragher 88'

Thomas Vermaelen

No-one expected that. Arsenal made Liverpool look like a Sunday League team (Osset ALbion, ask Blue is the Colour). Vermaelen lead by the front, scoring a penalty. No one knows why he took it though!

15.10.11 - - Q.P.R 0-2 Arsenal - The Gunners triumph in a London Derby

Premier Division

Douglas Costa 8'
Dede 58'

Dede

19.10.11 - - Arsenal 2-1 Lille - Yet Again the English are Better than the Fremch

Champions Cup

Dede

The Gunners showed good mental strength in this game. Hazard gave Lille the lead early on but the players were having no of it, changing the game in ten minutes. Dede had another great game.

22.10.11 - - Arsenal 4-1 - Manchester United - The Red Devils weren't too scary

Premier Division

Cavani

This was very unexpected. Manchester United didn't show up. The red card did not help them though. Cavani played an absolute blinder for the Gunners. He was amazing, even better than he had been all season, which is very hard.

26.10.11 - - Arsenal 8-0 Crawley - The difference was clear

League Cup 4th Round

Fernando Llorente 10', (pen) 27', 66'
Alex Oxlade-Chamerlain 35'
Theo Walcott 51', 56' 90+1'

Fernando Llorente

29.10.11 - Arsenal Draw West Ham in the League Cup Quarter Final Draw

The Gunners were given a bit of luck, drawing Championship side West Ham

Norwich 2-3 Arsenal - Arsenal hang on after going 3-0 up

Premier Division

Edinson Cavani 33'
Fernando 44', 56'

Fernando Llorente

The Gunners went 3-0 up, only to concede 2 goals in the last 20 minutes. They managed to hang on though. This win gave Keeling his 2nd perfect month in 3. Life at the Emirates is looking rather good at the moment...

The Premier Division Table

Nice results. What's the twist coming up?
#62969 Gurdit : Nice results. What's the twist coming up?
If I told you then it wouldn't be a twist, would it?
Not joking: one of the best stories I have EVER read. keep it up!

NOVEMBER - A month to forget

With an away trip to Lille being the only tough match in November you would expect it to be all wins. However the game of football can be rather unpredictable...

2.11.11 - - Lille 0-1 Arsenal

Wojciech Szscesny

It could be said that Lille were slightly on top. However the Gunners triumphed thanks to a tidy finish from Fernando Llorente and a superb performance from young goalkeeper Wojciech Szscesny. This result gave Arsenal a great chance to qualify from their group top.

5.11.11 - - Arsenal 2-0 Stoke - The Potters were gunned down

David Alaba 27'
Edinson Cavani 61

David Alaba

8.11.11 - - Swansea 3-0 Arsenal - What Happened?

Danny Graham

Well what did happen? The Gunners had smashed everyone in their way, but for some reason, the team didn't show up. It is rumoured that some of the players told Geoff Keeling that it was because of the long coach journey down to Swansea, Keeling was not happy and he made sure the players knew how he felt.

19.11.11 - - Arsenal 5-0 Wigan - Aaaaand we're back!

Jack Wilshere (pen) 23', (pen) 44'
Shinji Kagawa 41' 58'
Maynor Figueroa 78'

Jack Wilshere

The Gunners were itching to set the record straight and they did at the expense of Wigan. Wilshere yet again putting in a top drawer performance and Kagawa played very well also.

23.11.11 - - Arenal 5-0 Otelul

Nicolas Otemendi 3'
Fernando Llorente 7', 29'
Antoine Griezmann 17'
Shinji Kagawa 88'

Aly Cissohko

26.11.11 - - West Brom 2-0 Arsenal - The Gunners lose again

Jerome Thomas

Well this was an appauling performance from Keeling's men. It was reported that he went berserk at them after the final whistle. Who can blame him? That should have been a comfortable win for the Gunners.

30.11.11 - - West Ham 1-1 Arsenal (1-4 on Penalties) - Arsenal are lucky

Edinson Cavani 3'

Robert Green

Although Arsenal dominated the match but they couldn't find a 2nd goal. Fortunately the shootout was easy, West Ham missed 3 penalties.

Month Review

It was quite a poor month for the Gunners. However it wasn't too costly as the teams around Arsenal also slipped up. This meant that Arsenal has a 3 point advantage and a game in hand. All they could do now was forget about this month and focus on December

The Premier Division Table
Guys the December update is coming out later today!- it's gonna be a good one.
