- Placing in a CL spot in the first Year.

Alright I'm going to describe to you what went down in the months of July and August (not much, because everyone kept snobbing my club even after reeching an agreement with the respective clubs... Don't expect Dzeko or Van Persie, but I think my plans for the future and the summer transfers done by the club irl (Balzaretti and Destro a few to name) have already reinforced the team enough.

I'd like to say that I wanted to sign alot more prestigious players, but they almost all denied me... My budget was of 12 mil Euros, not that great... So I had to make due and strenghten the teams weak spots a bit more.

Our first games a loss, we took twice as many shots at goal, and managed to get none... They score early in the game / my luck.

You've only played 10 games...you can still climb up the table (hopefully). And dude ... why in the world would you ever download tactics? What's the whole point of playing Football manager then? :S

You've had a lot of back luck, but I'm sure you'll get your revenge and start the climbing

I reckon you'll still get champions league! 4-2-3-1 has worked well for me when I'm stuck for ideas and/or previous tactics haven't worked. Just make sure that the two holding midfielders are set at a ball winner and a deep lying playmaker. Should work better with a team like Roma!

It is better to have bad form towards the start of the season, rather than the end. Think of it as bad luck and do what you are good at. Play the same XI over and over if you have to, because you know it'll work.

After this match it was communicated to me that I had lost my job, and I was mortified.


Now what? I guess I'll roam around other clubs and gain experience. I'll keep posting my clubs experiences here until I rejoin Roma, and go for round 2.
