My FM2012 Career with Dover

Dylan Fernandes was slumped around on his computer playing FM2012, the greatest ever. He was bored and nothing had gone right in his footballing career. He someone got into the England but only made one appearance scoring a hat-trick... of own goals. From that day all he did was warm up the bench and get bullied by Emile Heskey.

Dylan was sick of how his footballing career had went and everywhere where he walked people would laugh and point at him saying, "hey it's the guy that a hat-trick of own goals.

So today he had decided to apply to manage his local team Dover Athletic. He stated that he wanted to take Dover to bigger places and also not be a laughing stock anymore. To his greatest suprise Dover chairmen Jim Paremeter agreed to have him as manager!

The next morning Dylan was already making headlines as he announced himself as the "special one" and then stormed out of the press conference realising he was late for his dinner.

Dylan, to many peoples suprise had actually done very well in his preseason and had even draw against MK Dons 1-1.



But the biggest suprise was that Dover only lost 5-2 at home to Celtic's first team and the two goals were 30 yard sceamers, maybe Dylan was the right man for this job...

So after a good pre season Dylan went into his first game V Eastleigh, a side expected to finished round-about play-off position. Our start of season expectations were that we were to get promoted and after strengthing the squad we were favourites to win the league.

The dream start could not be fulfilled however as Eastleigh managed to scrape a 2-1 win at their ground.

Later that month we came across our main rivals, Dartford. This was the crucial match and after a lot of hard work and dominating the game we won 2-1, New signing Counago scoring our second .

I will now skip all the way to our FA Cup 1st Round.

But First, Our most notable win in the Blue Square South was our 3-1 win V Chelmsford which notched us to 1st in the table. After that we kept our unbeaten record up and won the 8 (including Chelmsford) out of 10 games. 3 of these games were our road to the FA Cup first round. We demolished Faversham, our local rivals Folkestone and Cray and now we faced Sutton United in the 1st Round.




After good performances in the league and the Fa Cup qualifing rounds could we keep it up and beat Sutton for a place in the 2nd round...
