Should I buy Evra?

I have been offered Evra in January of the first season for £17 million. I'm Arsenal and this is a weak area of my squad.. what do people think? Can anyone recommend a different player to improve my left back position. I play them as automatic wing backs.

I'd look for more of a youthful leftback as 17mil for a 30 year old (me guessing here) seems steep. However, your left back situation is dire. How has the first half of the season gone for you?

To be honest I'd imagine you could easily get Leighton Baines for that price, he'd be a better option.

you just need to question, with that record, do you need a defender? ask yourself why Man U are happy to get rid of him.

yeah I said no in the end. I haven't conceded in 7 games so my defenders must be doing something right.

I signed Lucas Digne, Got rid of Gibbs, and Used Santos for the 1st season rotating with Digne, In the 2nd season Digne took the reigns and was awesome, hope this helps.
