I am playing in Italy as Roma and have Serie B and teams one/two levels under B as affiliates. I have some pretty high PA players around the 18-20 age. I am not sure whether to keep them playing for my under 20 team where I know they will get a weekly game or loan them out to another team. If I should loan them out, what level should they be playing to ensure the best progress. I would let them play for my big team but can"t afford to lose points and can"t guarantee consistently playing time. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Send the 18 y olds to the lower teams for 1 season and then loan them to Serie B.
The 19/20 y olds can probably go straight to the Serie B side.
You can then send them there for a 2nd season or loan them to a "smaller" Serie A team.
The key is to make sure that they are sent to teams that will play them.
So, don't loan your striker to a team that already has 6 strikers on their books.
Look at the team report of the candidate teams and see if your starlet is better than the players they already have in his position. If so, they are more likely to play him often. Otherwise he's just going to sit on their bench and not progress much.
Hope this helps.
