Ipswich Town hire Lloyd Debenham

Lloyd Debenham has been appointed at Ipswich Town manager as the chairman had a fall out with Paul Jewell forcing him to force Jewell resign.

Debenham has also stated: "This squad isn't perfect but I WILL make changes to the squad with at least 6 new players"

Ipswich loan Everton's Barkley

Everton's Ross Barkley has joined championship side Ipswich on a 6 month loan deal!

Barkley stated: "I am glad to get into first team football and get out of reserve matches"

Debenham quoted: "I am glad to sign Ross on a loan and I hope he will make a difference at the club"

Ipswich loan Man Utd goalkeeper

Ben Amos has joined Ipswich on a season-long loan after only being in the reserves at Old Trafford!

Amos said "I am looking forward to first team football"

Debenham did quote: "Ben is a great keeper and should lift the team higher"

Ipswich sign Proctor

Preston striker Jaime Proctor has signed for Ipswich for a fee of 900k and is believed to be a backup forward at Portman Road as Debenham did say that "Michael Chopra and Nathan Ellington will be my main strikers"

Ipswich have signed Cardiff right-back Paul Quinn for a fee of 325k!

He stated: "I'm glad to leave Cardiff and get some first team football"

Ipswich have made two signings signing defender Jackson Ramm from Blackburn for 230k and also striker Heidar Helguson from QPR for 450k.

I think putting the results aside I think in all games we put in lots of effort and I hope to beat our first opponent.

Decent signings. Wouldnt have got sol campbell myself but good bit of back up.
