This is the tactic Swindon will mostly use. It is quite attacking so will be good in League One.

This tactic is just in case Swindon get a tough game in the cup or a mustn't lose game.

It is a strong squad, but with only 16 players it will need to be built on if they are going to do well this season.

Swindon Go On Spending Spree

Jamie Street has gone on a spending spree after signing 4 players with his £1.3m budget:

Iain Hume
Fee: £500k + £1.5m over 48-month instalments
From: Ipswich Town

Hume is a recognized striker in these divisions and will be a vital of the Swindon team.

Darren Carter
Fee:£0
From:-

Carter is a great central midfielder who has played in the Premier League. He had been released by Milwall before Swindon snapped him up after some hot interest to other clubs.

Pat Clarke
Fee:£0
From:-

Pat Clarke will be providing depth as a striker. He has been a prolific goalscorer in the 1st and 2nd division of Scottish football so when his time comes he will be ready.

Mikkel Andersen
Fee:£250k
From:Reading

Andersen will be the first-team goalkeeper this season for Swindon. He has played lots of football at this level so is very experienced.

After these transfers Swindon still have a lot more links with players and it is likely they will sign more players.

Swindon Sign Some More

Swindon have signed some more players in the transfer window:

Lloyd Sam
Fee:£0
From:-

Sam is another experienced signing for Swindon. He is a left-attacking midfielder and has played in League One, the Championship and the Premier League.

Ignasi Miquel
Fee: full season loan (0% wages)
From: Arsenal

Swindon needed a centre-back so Miquel was the perfect man for the job. He has a huge ability and potential and is a future Arsenal star.

Akos Buzsaky
Fee:£0
From:-

Akos Buzsaky has played in the Championship for ages now and will have no problem smashing killer balls in League One. He had been released by QPR and there were lots of teams trying to snap him up but he chose Swindon.

Swindon look like they have pretty much wrapped up all their deals for the window and they are ready for the new season.
