I was just flicking through the folders of my fm08 game when i found an EDT file? which was call make_me_chairman.edt.
What is this exactly. Youy can't become a chairman can you?
nope, i dont know what that file is sorry. open it in notepad and see what it says hehe.

you wont be able to play as a chairmen, but you will be a chairmen. its like in the editor. you can make urself there, as a player chairmen and what not. haha.

cool that will still be great. Would be great if they put the OPTION TO BE a chairman in a future fm. Maybe allow you to invest your career earnings into another club and join the board lol.
