I haven't seen any mention of Genie Scout for FM13, does anyone know if it'll be released this year?

For the last 3/4 years Genie has released his scout around January time, he has to have time to write the new code!?
There will be lesser scouts available sooner, but they're not as easy to use and don't have the same aesthetic/functionality, for example they don't have a tick box that show the players improvement based on PA...

Yeah i know but normally we have some sort of announcment along the lines of "It will be available again, not sure when yet." But this year, nothing.
Given that FM 2013 hasn't officially been released yet, at least not in complete sense of the word, it would be pretty daft to give a possible release of Genie 13.
And please...Could we have one for mac?

I donated and emailed Eugene at the beginning of October saying I was hoping he would be working on Genie Scout for FM2013 and he replied "I'd love to make GS for FM13."

Do you guys know if the source code for Genie is Open Source and available somewhere.
If not if there is a open source framework for reading and parsing the save game files.
It's obviously a binary file but I have no idea how to parse it correctly. I was thinking about messing around until Genie comes out.

Yeah I checked it out but I can't get it to match the current save game file in FM 2013. I heard somewhere that they encrypt the save game file now to make sure scout tools won't work. Can you confirm if this is true are false?
