BREAKING NEWS

Just weeks after Alan Pardew had signed an astonishing 8-year deal at the Sports Direct Arena, he has been sacked by owner Mike Ashley. The club's statement did not explain why this decision was taken, especially after the manager had signed such a lengthy contract. However, rumours say that Pardew called Ashley a t*** and somehow Ashley found out and was outraged. The statement also read that the club would look to appoint a manager as soon as possible so he would get enough time to operate during the summer transfer window.

The media's candidates to take over the job are former manager and player Alan Shearer and Alan Curbishley, however a few names are being tossed around.

With Mike Ashley's reputation of making odd decisions though, no one can really predict who the next manager of Newcastle United Football Club will be.
BREAKING NEWS

Former Wrexham and Swansea midfielder Harry Hamilton has been appointed as manager of Newcastle United. The club released a statement saying that despite Hamilton lacking the experience at the top tier as a player or manager, they were more than convinced that Hamilton was the man to take them forward. The club also revealed he will be given enough funds to strengthen the squad.

Hamilton was born in Gateshead in 1986, and joined the youth ranks at Wrexham at age 11. He eventually joined Swansea at age 23, and looked set to have a decent career as a player, but his proneness to injuries eventually forced him to retire.

The Toon Army though, are skeptical of this decision. "First it was Keegan, then Hughton, and now Pardew. Why does Ashley sack all the managers that bring us success?", said one fan.

"I don't understand this at all. Mike Ashley has to go. He's ruining our club." said another.

Another enthusiastic group of fans though, decided to voice their opinions in chant. "I DON'T CARE ABOUT ASHLEY. I DON'T CARE ABOUT ME. ALL I CARE ABOUT IS NUFC!"

Only time will tell what will happen on Tyneside over the months to come.
Good luck mate! Will be following.

Fans outrage as Hamilton sells Newcastle trio

Newly appointed manager Harry Hamilton has not won himself any fans on Tyneside after he sold 3 players who were key in the Magpies' amazing fifth-place finish last season. Fabricio Coloccini and Demba Ba have both left to Chelsea for a total sum of 27.75M, while Jonas Gutierrez has left to European spot rivals Everton for a reported figure of close to 13.75M.
Local boy Shola Ameobi has also been allowed to join Aston Villa on loan with an option to buy.

Hamilton has asked fans not to worry and to be patient as replacements are on their way. An official excerpt from his statement to BBC Newcastle read - "I understand the fans' concern about Fabricio, Jonas and Demba leaving. I assure them that we already have replacements targeted and are in the final stages of negotiations. I know it may seem that the squad is much weaker now, but trust me - at the end of the window I'm 100% sure we will have a stronger squad than last season."

Hamilton continues Newcastle auction as fans are left frustrated

Harry Hamilton has sold even more Newcastle players today, with Dan Gosling leaving to Cardiff for 3M, full-back Danny Simpson and center-back Mike Williamson gone for 5M to Wolves and Stoke respectively. James Perch and Sammy Ameobi have also left to Hull and Blackburn after being told by Hamilton that they were not in his plans.

Hamilton finally brings in the new recruits as fans are relieved

The Newcastle gaffer has finally delivered on his promise to bring in new players.
In total - TWELVE new players have been brought in. They are as follows.

Everton's 20 year old striker Magaye Gueye has been brought in for 8.5M. The 20 year old French striker has a lot of potential and will play #2 to Papiss Cisse as a lone striker.

Manchester City right-back Pablo Zabaleta has been signed for 5.25M. With Maicon and Richards ahead of him in the pecking order, City decided to transfer-list Zabaleta, and this signing is seen as a coup by manager Harry Hamilton.

Zabaleta is a work-horse and one of the most underrated full-backs in the world.

Newcastle have beat Arsenal to the signing of Marseille's Andre Ayew. The 21 year old can play at both central midfield and down the left flank, but is viewed as a winger by the Newcastle manager. He's very good physically as well, which most wingers lack, and is seen as a like-for-like replacement for Jonas Gutierrez.

Betis playmaker Benat Etxeberria or simply Benat, has been signed for a bargain 5M, due to a release clause in his contract. Benat is very highly rated in Spain for his playmaking and set-piece taking skills, and his exploits in the La Liga have earned him his first cap for the Spain senior team against South Korea.

Newcastle have signed yet another midfielder in CSKA Moscow's Rasmus Elm. The Swede was signed by the Magpies for 6.25M. Elm is renowned through Europe for his technical abilities as well his ability to take set-pieces.

Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci has moved to Tyneside in a cut-price 2.4M deal. The defender fell out with manager Antonio Conte and had therefore been transfer listed. Manager Harry Hamilton highly rates the defender, and thinks that he is capable to fill the void left by the departure of former captain Fabricio Coloccini.

Newcastle have signed Leverkusen left-back Michal Kadlec for a fee close to 5M from under the noses of Premier League rivals Sunderland and QPR. The 26-year old is viewed as the first choice as left-back, with Dutch international Vurnon Anita the second choice.

Randers FC midfielder Kasper Lorentzen has been signed by Harry Hamilton for a reported fee of 900K. The Danish central midfielder is only viewed as a squad player, behind the likes of Yohan Cabaye, Benat and Rasmus Elm.

Udinese target and Partizan Belgrade defensive midfielder Medo has been snapped up for a fee of 3.4M. Medo has been bought as a deputy for Ivorian Cheick Tiote.

19 year old Dynamo Kiev right winger Dudu has been bought for a fee of 10M. Harry Hamilton said he is excited about his potential and even though most Premier League viewers wouldn't know him, they will be in for a treat.

Spain's fallen-giants Villarreal have sold defensive prospect Mateo Musacchio to Newcastle for a fee of 4.2M. Many clubs such as Roma, Chelsea had put in bids, but the Argentine opted for the north-east of England.

Former Bayern Munich center-back Breno has been signed on a free transfer. Much was expected of the youngster after his 8M+ move to Germany when he was a teen, but the Brazilian hasn't delivered on his potential. The manager still believes he can get better and prove to be a good addition to his side.

The Staff

Harry Hamilton has brought more change to Tyneside, with all but 2 staff members - Joe Joyce and chief scout Graham Carr left over from the previous management.

The Tactics

The main tactic I will use this season is a 4-3-3. Alternatively, when I need to defend, like when trying to hold a 1 goal lead in the final etc, I will use a defensive 4-2-3-1.

4-3-3

4-2-3-1

Season Expectations

The Board wants me to
  • Finish in the Top Half in the League
  • Reach the First Knockout round in the Europa League
  • Reach the Sixth Round of the F.A Cup
  • Reach the Quarter Final of the Capital One Cup

I, on the other hand, have slightly higher expectations, and this is what I'm aiming for.

  • Finish fifth place. (Fourth would be nice too. :P)
  • Reach Quarter Final of Europa League
  • Reach Semi-Final of F.A Cup
  • Reach Final of Capital One Cup
Well, well, well. With those board expectations, you wouldn't need to make any changes to your side. A good tactic and you would've done everything that was expected of you, but with your signings, you now have a better squad and should have better expectations.

Good luck. :)
