Tony Adams shock move to Tottenham

Today in a move that shocked the footballing world Tony Adams has signed a 1 year contract with Tottenham on £65,000 a week. The rumours are Wenger spoke to Daniel Levy about Tony Adams and Wenger told Levy “Adams is not good enough to manage at such a high standard. On hearing this Adams decided to take the job to prove his old mentor wrong.
Reportedly Adams has been given a £30m transfer budget and £1.3m wage allowances. However like his mentor Wenger, Adams has stated he is going to invest in youngsters and look for bargains rather than marquee signings, to get Tottenham into the top four this season.

Comments good or bad welcome.

Pre-Season

A very average pre-season but throughout the pre-season Adams insisted on his fringe players getting a chance instead of the main 11.

My Tactics

This is my all out attack fromation for when I am despreatly chassing a lead in the dying minutes.

My defensive formation for when I am playing the likes of Madrid, City, Barca away.

My main formation for the majority of my matchs a good balance between attack and solid at the back.
Haha, nice opening. Good team to pick as well, I haven't seen many Spurs stories. They also have some good players, and money as well, with potential. Good luck!

Can I recommend Demba Ba? I'm not insulting your intelligence by saying you don't know him, but I've got a Spurs FMC career, and they have a striker problem, and Demba Ba can be picked up for as little as £7m. Cos get Adebayor or Defoe injured, and you're stuffed. I went for Caicedo from Lokomotiv Moscow, he's pretty cheap, and has a potential of 3 and a half stars. Anyway, just my opinion, but it's your story.

I would usually get him so it's good idea mate, but I have decided to only buy youngsters or get other players on cheap transfers for a bit of a challange but thanks anyway :)

Opening fixtures, Tottenham transfer business and biggest transfers

Very good start with a convincing 3-1 away win at Sunderland and then a 6-1 thumping of champions City.

Euro Groups

A easy group in which Tottenham fans and players expect to qualify easily. However Tony Adams has apparently told the squad he is going to play fringe players so everyone can get game time.

Europa League Opening Fixture

Adams left White Hart Lane very happy as his complete reserve side out-classed a distincley average Lech side, coming off comfortable 3-1 winners. With more performances like this Adams and the fans can look forward to a nice long cup run.

Capital One Cup

A great result for Tottenham as Adams kept by his ethos of playing reserves in cup matchs, to win 2-0 against a lacklusture main team. After just 30mins debutant Ceballos (under 18's) scored a tap in after Krul spilt the ball. Defoe secured the win by scoring a thumoing volley in the 80th minute.

Tottenham have been given a very tough away draw against Liverpool, and there is a chance Tony Adams may decide to play his first team for that game.
