my assistant manager keeps bidding on players that i add to my transfer target list? does this mean I can't use this list just for me to sort into order my preferred targets? It doesn't seem to be on the responsibilities page?

My only answer would have been that it is on the responsibilities page.
It might be worth checking out what type of player it is who they are bidding on. You may be selecting to bid for first team players yourself, but further down it might have youth players to be bid for by your assistant? Worth a look I suppose.
I would guess that your transfer targets list is for exactly that, to get someone else to do the negotiating for the targets you want. Why not just stick them on a shortlist?

the Transfer List acts like a bidding list and your ass man goes through it and works on securing players within the parameters that you specify.
Ye just use a shortlist and sort out the staff resposabilities thing.
