Help with tactics on Everton team

I just started a new game with Everton fc with the 8.02 patch and i'm struggling to find a tactic which could help me win games, please help!

play with 4-4-2 tactics

you can play the 4-3-3 formation at home. Or try the 4-4-2 diamond formation both home and away.

but its more about your teams personal instructions and such things that matter more than just the line up. So look closely at what players can do and how much freedom and such you want to give them etc etc.

I also play with everton. It is a big team. I played with 4-4-2 tactics.
I bought Rafael Van der Vaart from Hsv, and Naldo from Werder Bremen.
