Leg 1:
VLLAZNIA 0-4 EVERTON
Everton set themselves for a easy second leg in order to go through to the next round of qualifying. With Pienaar opening the scoring on the 21st minute, Mirallas extended the lead on the 27th minute, just after Gueye had to leave the pitch two minutes earlier. Everton controlled the rest of the half without having too much pressure piled on their defence. Mirallas grabbed a second 11 minutes into the second half and Fellaini tucked one home 3 minutes later. Everton were unfortunate to them lose another player, Oviedo, in the 66th minute. Steven Pienaar took Man of the Match with a rating of 9.7. Gueye will be out for 2 weeks with a damaged foot, and Oviedo will only miss 3 days due to a dead leg.
Leg 2:
EVERTON 4-0 VLLAZNIA
Pienaar grabbed another goal early on in the second leg, scoring in the 16th minute. Baines secured the probable win after slotting a penalty into the bottom corner in the 34th minute, meaning Everton could sit back for the rest fo the game. However, Mirallas didn't want to miss out on being mentioned on the scoresheet, and scored in the 71st minute, followed by another in the 73rd minute. As a result, Mirallas took Man of the Match with a rating of 9.3.

Everton have swept through the second round of qualifying, in which they will play U.E. Santa Coloma, an Andorran team who play in the first divison. The Andorran club have only ever won 2 titles, the second division in 2005 and 2008. They also play on a synthetic pitch, in a stadium holding 1,600 fans.
