European Super Cup
The European Super Cup disrupts our season, after two good wins, home to Man City thanks to a Lewandowski goal and a 3-1 win away to Nottingham Forest courtesy of a Benzia brace and a superb Ramsey strike.
Mr Ross! how are you feeling before this game? your last two matches against City in the league have been one-sides affairs. You can really heap misery on their season if you beat them tonight and by doing so really elevate yours, can it be done?
Yeah we've done really well in the first two games, but there's a long, long way to go, tonight won't make or break these sides seasons but it can dent them early on for sure, every game we want to win and this is no different. It's another trophy up for grabs.
What about team selection? Will players like Ademilson or Hernandez get rare starts? Wellington Nem too?
Possibly, we have an international break after this so we could field a strong side, we'll have to see...
Finally, your Champions League group is widely regarded as the easiest... Spartak Moscow, APOEL, and Lille should prove to be a walk in the park...
As long as we perform well I am confident... We need to be solid in our home displays which we have done in the past, the away trips is where the players need to show character, which I'm sure they will do.
