The Story

This is my first official story on FM Scout and this one will actually go far. I have chosen Blackpool for my first story and my final goal is to get them to win the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and win a World Cup and European Championship as an international manager with any team.

A nPower Championship team located in Lancashire. They have won 1 nPower Championship, 1 FA Cup, 2 Johnstone's Paint trophies and 1 Anglo-Italian Cup. They are predicted to finish 9th and was founded in 1887. I plan on achieving at least playoffs this season and aiming for promotion the next season.

Staff

Blackpool have a very minimal staff room for a nPower Championship team and I will be bringing in my own backroom staff in time to come.

Transfer Status

Blackpool currently have Nathan Delfouneso and Nouha Dicko loaned to the club and the only player loaned out is Tom Barkhuizen. They currently have a transfer budget of 2 million and a wage budget of 10k p/w. I will be working on increasing the wage budget.

Squad

This is the current squad report. Blackpool have a solid team and do not really need any new first team players. Nathan Delfouneso is a much better player then shown and Thomas Ince and Matt Phillips are very good wingers. I will be looking for a backup AML because Adda Djeziri is not good.

Tactics

This will be the main tactic I will be using. It has brought a lot of success for me and I hope it does well in this league.

This is the 2nd tactic I will be using. It isn't as good as the first one but if I want a bit more attack I use this.

Press Conference

The Daily Mirror: "You sit here as the new manager of Blackpool. Is this your dream job?"

Jibrail Cheema: "I am absolutely delighted to be manager. I am glad I was trusted with this position."

Sky Sports News: "What is your tactical approach to the game?"

Jibrail Cheema: "Football is about entertainment and that is what I promise Blackpool fans."

Friendly Results

I told my assistant manager to handle them. We didn't lose so that's good.

August

A good month. 6 points from a possible 9. The defeat against Huddersfield should have been avoided. We also reached the 3rd round of the Capital Cup to face Newcastle.
