With Portsmouth in deep turmoil on and off the pitch. No players to call there own, I thought it might be a fantastic and hilarious story to do...being a Southampton fan will also add extra humour to it.

I love a challenge and to be honest I can not think of a bigger one than this. No money no players and no signs of improving, this could be very fun.

(Joining the club)

When joining Portsmouth obviously there was a lot to analyse throughout the whole club. Firstly the players...with only 3 players on contracts longer than 3months! I knew I had tough work ahead. However they do have a lot of promosing youngsters that Im sure can provide cover in this league.

The only posistion they didnt have was a goalkeeper and I can not buy any players so a 16 year old is all I have at the moment :S

This could be a long pre season hopefully I get taken over soon!
good luck m8 ;) hope you do get a takeover ;D
Good luck man, I hope good things come your way :)
Pre Season!!
Portsmouth 0-1 Portsmouth Reserves
Portsmouth 0-3 HSV
Exeter 0-3 Portsmouth
Lincoln 1-0 Portsmouth
Portsmouth 1-4 C.Palace
Havant & Waterlooville 0-0 Portsmouth

Well the first result was just a joke considering I have no players so to get two sides together to play was a achievement lol I thought it could only get better.....sadly no :/

The only highlight being a 3-0 away win which has made me see what a hard job this is going to be.

However FANTASTIC NEWS....I HAVE BEEN TAKEN OVER! Transfer embargo lifted and I can now look at the odd player...hopefully a goalkeeper
Hooray! :D
AUGUST

With only 10 days to prepare for my first game of the season the transfer pickings are very slim on the loan list and the free agents. However some signings may soon be on the horizon and one in particular is very exciting.

Portsmouth 0-2 Oxford (Capital One Cup 1st round)
Dreadful performence from the whole team, didnt really create anything going forward and conceding 2 goals in the first 16 minutes did not help the cause. A goal keeper and a striker is a must at the moment if theres any chance of survival. However glad to be out the cup as my players need the extra rest through the season.

Portsmouth 1-1 Preston
Fantastic start to the league season with a great point against a very experienced Preston side. The whole team put a real shift in and got big rewards because of it. Luke rodgers got the goal and some big positives to take out the game.

SIGNINGS!!!! Two goalkeepers have joined us...Sidibe on a free transfer but most importantly Radek Cerny on a loan deal from QPR is a huge coup. Moreover a BRILLIANT signing on loan is Frederic Piquionne on a loan deal from West Ham. Being a ex Portsmouth player he loves the club and still has immense ability for League One.

Scunthorpe 0-2 Portsmouth
Brilliant win with the new boys shining. Harris and Piquionne with the goals and the new formation workng a treat. 5-4-1 diamond formation is working very well. My defence look solid and with Piquionne up front he will always grab a goal even when chances are slim.

Portsmouth 0-0 Doncaster
The formation and strategy worked a treat in this game, the players are working so hard for eachother at the moment and hopefully they can continue it. Even though we played woefully its the points that matter and this is a fantastic start.

Summary
Unbeaten in the league is brilliant but we are clearly riding on a bit of fortune. But thats what we are going to need if we want to survive.
Only decent results but will get better mate :)
Good Luck!

thanks for all the comments guys
I see what you did there ;)
haha you love it :D
September

Portsmouth 1-2 Hartlepool
Bad result especially at home, Piquionne on the mark again but bad defending led to the equaliser then giving away a late penalty due to lack of inexperience. Not a good start to the month and hopefully we improve soon.

Crawley 2-0 Portsmouth
Relegation battle has started and this is a devastating result against a relegation side. Holding onto the ball was non existent and the palyers were just not up for the game. Morale is running low and a win looks way off.

Portsmouth 1-0 Brentford
Even I dont know how we won this one. Brentford are flying at the top of the table and we looked like a different team, everyone gave everything and we looked a very good side. Piquonne got the winner in the 88th minute to send the home fans into raptures.

Bournemouth 0-0 Portsmouth
Local derby game and we did well, The performence wasnt great but it was a game we couldnt afford to lose to a side who might also be languishing at the bottom of the table come the end of the season.

Notts County 1-2 Portsmouth
With 10 men most of the game this is a very unexpected 3 points. Brian Howard got us in front and then Luke Rodgers with a powerful winner. The defence is looking very good and the morale is starting to creap up.

Yeovil 0-4 Portsmouth
WOW! This performence was great and brilliant for the goal difference. Howard and a Piquonne hat trick gave us all 3 points. Every win we get is one step closer to survival.

Portsmouth 1-2 Shrewsbury
We were outplayed most of this game and conceded a late winner. Piquonne was on the scoresheet again, however I cannot complain as this month has been brilliant.

Summary
10/21 points isnt bad and I know its probably going to get worse as most of the squad leave at the start of next month. To have this amount of points so far I have to be grateful as I reckon we will start to fall very quickly.
October

New signing--Herman Hreidarsson has joined. Previous Pompey player and great height for a left back. Anmy transfer for us is good no matter what ability :P

Portsmouth 0-0 Coventry
Great point against the title favourites, defence looked solid and will have to stay that way as this months games are looking very hard.

Portsmouth 0-1 MK Dons
Not a surprising result. They played us off the park and we looked a relegated team. With the players leaving soon we needed to get as many points as possible but its not going particularly well.

Swindon 1-1 Portsmouth
New player started this game. South korean 16 year old Kim was in the youth squad and he got a start. Akos Buzasky got the leveller in his last game for the club along with many others. But a good away point.

DEPARTURES=7 first team players contracts have run out and none of them wanted to stay on. Mostly my best players and midfielders too so the squad is down to bare bones...under 18s will have to step in.

Signings=4 new players are in off the free agents. The only player who looks good is Brazilian Centre back Bruno Perone. The others are just to bolster the squad.

Walsall 2-2 Portsmouth
Litmanen and Piquonne with the goals in this game. I didnt think the team could get much worse but with those departures we are woeful. I cannot see many wins from here till January. We are lucky that we got so many points at the start but we are falling fast.

Leyton Orient 0-0 Portsmouth
Very dull game but still a extra point to the total. Hopefully we will get some luck soon and get to scrape some points together.

Summary= expected a poor month due to the lack of players. No wins and no signs of improving. Really relying on there to be 4 awful teams this year so that I dont have to get loads of points to stay up.
I have a soft-spot for Portsmouth for some reason, so it's nice to see a story. But some pictures and colour will brighten up your story and make it more eye-catching!

Thanks for the comment Arvind and i have fixed my picture problems so now I should be able to make it look better
November

A parent club has been issued to Portsmouth...Premiership giants Manchester United!!

Hopefully they may give us a few loans this season or next season, which would really bolster the squad.

Rochdale 1-1 Portsmouth (FA CUP 1st Round)
Dreadful performence the only way we could score was through one of there players. I would of prefered to lose the game and save our energy for the league but will have to be replayed.

Bury 0-0 Portsmouth
A very dull game in this relegation scrap. You could easily tell nobody wanted to lose the game and a point is vital for both teams survival

Carlisle 0-1 Portsmouth
Our first win in a while and a brilliant performence to go with it. Piquionne on the scoresheet again as usual nowadays. Away wins are going to be hard to come by so the team will enjoy it while they can.

Portsmouth 0-1 Rochdale (FA CUP 1st Round Replay)
Not surprised we went out considering our players are exhausted. We were never in the game and I do not mind one bit that we are out.

Steveange 3-0 Portsmouth
This result has angered me a lot. Stevenage arent a bad side and they pass the ball extrememly well. But to concede 3 is not good enough especially when I base my team on defending. This needs to be worked on in training asap.

Portsmouth 0-2 Colchester
We are in a deep slump now, I was hoping the team would really bounce back from the previous game but they have been out played by one of the teams currently in the relegation zone. Hopefully next week we can get something from the game.

Portsmouth 2-2 Crewe
We needed atleast a point this game so thankfully we got it. However to score 2 at home and not when isnt very good for my defence. Piquionne got both goals, conceding 7 goals in 3 games is not good enough and next month needs to be a lot better.

Summary= 5 points from the month isnt awful, we know we are in a struggle and just to get that away win from Carlisle was a huge achievement. Im not expecting big things from my team so any win is fantastic.
