Bean take's over struggling Crewe and admits staying up will be hard
Two weeks after Steve Davis resigned from Crewe Alexandra becuase he beleived his position was "untenable because of fans pressure". To the shock of the footballing world 25 year old Joshua Bean was given his first venture in management.
Many people including the clubs fans beleive that Bean is fighting a uphill task to keep their team in League 1. Bean realeased a staement soon after "I am very excited to take this challange and I hope I can please the paying fans. As for expectations I feel sadly we will be in the relegation dogfight this year buy if we survive I beleive we can push on to better things"
The board issued their own statement saying "We understand the confusion witht the fans but we beleive Bean has great potential and we have full faith".
Board Expectations: Consolidate the team in League 1. I have been given £200k in budget and £27.5k wage budget to do so.
