I'll be starting a new story replacing the real madrid story as i am using a new laptop. The other laptop had a problem which cannot be fixed.
Man City's manager, Roberto Mancini is sacked after his disappointing performance after finishing last place in the Euro Champions Cup. Although Man City won the league, Man City's chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak did not want a League win but he want a ECC win.
They appointed Icelandic Manager Steven Stock who is a stranger to the soccer world. Steven wanted to try being a manager and so applied to be a Man City manager.
Tuesday Morning:
Steven reported for work and had a meeting with the chairman, Khaldoon Al Mubarak and he introduced my assistant Brian Kidd.
Meeting with Brian Kidd
Brian:Hello there, I'm Brian Kidd and i want to have a private meeting with you.
Steven: Ok
Brian: Would you like to have an intra-squad friendly tomorrow?
Steven: Yes, I would like to have that tomorrow.
Brian: You would have noticed a piece of document near you. Its a team report for Man City
which tells you which player is the best and stuff like that.
Steven: Thanks for your explaination. I need nothing else from you so the meeting is over.
Brian: I wish you good luck.
Steven: Thanks.
Steven left the meeting room and went into the manager's office and switched on the MacBook.
He checked his email and found that the chairman had sent him an email:
Steven, the team must always play attacking and you can only buy high profile players.
Steven looked through and thought: Are you kidding me? what if I wanted to buy some youth players that have high potential but is not a high profile player?
Wednesday:
Steven reported for work and checked his emails. He saw a email about Iceland U-21 getting a record and told his assistant he don't want to see emails from Iceland again!
There was another one from Man City's chairman:
Man City is organizing a training camp for the players of Man City.
Steven put in every player in the senior squad that is not loaned out.
Steven read an email and quickly rushed out to the press conference located at the stadium.
A BBC Journalist: You are sitting here as manager of Man City, is this your dream job?
Steven:I am pleased with the chairman for giving me my dream job.
Journalist: Do you think that you can be a fan favorite and a legend like Roberto Mancini?
Steven:If I am not confident of myself, I would not be here.
Journalist:You have to manage both Spain and Man City, do you think you would be able to cope with the stress?
Steven: Today, the subject is Man City not Spain(Aggressive Tone)
Journalist:There is a rumor that you are looking to sign one or two from the Spain team to Man City.Is it true?
Steven:No. But I will consider them(additional comment)
Journalist:The facilities at Man City is excellent. Are you excited to work in this environment?
Steven:The facilities are great but hard work is also needed to achieve something big.
